Like EVERYONE else in here, I was disappointed with the size.

I am 6' and 200 lbs, i.e. not enormous. I ordered an XL. Body of the jacket barely cleared my waist, and the SLEEVES?! Man I dunno who designed this thing. The sleeves came to my mid forearm. I'm not talking a little, annoying gap of skin between my glove and the end of the sleeve, I'm talking like comically short sleeves, to the point that it looked silly on me.

Also, it's pretty thin insulation-wise.

If you're a dude with exceptionally short arms, go for it. It is, after all, a decent price for a low-loft down jacket (that is, ONLY if on sale at $80 -- at full price this is a rip off no matter how you slice it). But otherwise I'd say skip it.

And Mountain Hardware: Step your sizing game up!

Dry bag/compression sack/day sack. If there exists another product combining all of these functions I am unaware of it.

I've got a nice little OR compression dry bag that packs real small into an internal pouch. Problem? No shoulder straps. Ditto on the compression sacks I have -- great for stuffing gear, but none of them shoulder straps.

(And of course I've had plenty of regular day packs over the years, but none of them are dry bags!)

So yeah, great combination of functionalities. So far it's treated me well.

DISCLAIMER: I have not taken this on the river yet and cannot vouch for it's dry-ness. Hence the 4/5 stars.

You can't "clip" this pouch to your belt. Why? There's no clip. Instead it has two loops. Great for running your belt through -- if you're rocking a belt. If you're not, there's no real way to attach to your -pants/shorts organically.

Without a belt I tried looping a carabiner through the loops on the pouch and then through my belt loop, tucking it inside my pants. But the loops are rather long and with the added length of the 'biner it hangs pretty low below the wasteline of the pants, making it pretty uncomfortable.

Good size pouch (big enough for a passport but not as long as a traditional money belt), but an attached clip would have been an easy fix for this product.
