Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In great shape. No structural issues. Hardly any wear on soles despite lots of walking. Buckels still function with no problems. Liners are in good shape. You can see a little they are worn by the rivots holding the buckle attachment on the foot. Started taping once I notice and it hasn't gotten worse. Likely because, I'm in biggest liner the shells should hold.

Not a real word but these pants are real? and they are awesome. Rugged and warm. Kind of like walking around in a log cabin. I laugh at the lifetime warranty because I know I'll fall apart before they do. Normally, wear 32x32 but got these a little bigger 34x32 for the room in the waste and legs. The lining makes them fit a bit tighter than normal.

Fit: Runs small

No confusion over which company you are proudly representing wearing this tee. Nothing says outdoor hero like the mammoth across your chest. I find the shirt runs a little small - 5'10", 165 lbs - in a large. But, I've always preferred looser fitting clothing. Makes a great gift too. I bought traditional black but might some color to my wardrobe with my next purchase.

Very well constructed. Couldn't see this thing coming apart if it was dropped from a speeding car on the highway. The backpack straps are very comfortable and there is a chest strap. I find the side pocket opening to be a little small. No getting in there with gloves on. As mentioned, carry-on size but I would opt for a more comfortable backpack or roller. Seems best for rainy or snowy adventures. Good wetsuit bag.

Andy, I'm sure you meant an alpine style touring binding. These work great with those. I have several friends who use that exact combo. Mainly because they hate trying to manage the tech bindings when they have lost a ski in powder. I'm not sure it makes much of a difference but they think DIN is easier for them to get back on. These are great boots, I wear them every time I go out.

I've worn these everyday since they arrived in the mail. Out of the box, the soles were literally tacky. When they reviews say they are sticky they mean it. Not sure what kind of magic vibram these are made of but it works - even on ice. The shoe is on the narrower side so if you have wide feet you are likely going to experience some discomfort and possibly split the suede. My only complaint is the soles hold a lot of mud, dirt, etc. and it is difficult to get out. Guess that isn't a real big problem.

Fit: True to size

Pulled the trigger and bought for my wife despite not getting all my questions answered. My instincts were correct - this jacket has it all. Concerns about sizes and sleeve width were answered when it arrive. Went with small, see below for wife sizes, and she will be able to fit a few layers beneath and no arm issues. She would need to size up if planning to use for cold weather top-layer to fit my layers underneath. Color is almost cantaloup and the tapped seams look dirty when not being worn. If concerned about jacket getting dirty go with the dark colors.
