I think the Blast match is by far the best "Flint and Steel"/magnesium rod fire starter out there. I take it on every trip. A little bit of dryer lint and one shot from the blast match and you have a fire. I use it to light my stove by holding over my stove and plunging the magnesium rod with my fingertip. Lighters are typically my go to but they don't work in the super cold and can fail when wet or just fail altogether for no reason. The blast match gives me peace of mind. I have used many of these types of fire starters and this is hands down the easiest to use and most effective.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had 3 pairs of the Fix Ear buds and I just keep going back. The first pair I had I broke by throwing them in the bottom of a bag and the edge of my macbook pro crushed the mic when I dropped my bag. I tried a few other earbuds after than and was unhappy with the fit, sound, or both. From there I decided to go back to the fix and they were great until I lost them. So I am coming back again to what I know works. This new pair sounds better than my previous 2 pairs. It is great sound for the price. I use them all the time for teleconferencing for work or listening to music. If there was a fault it would be that the mic picks up noise from rubbing on the collar of my shirt. Doesn't bother me but my coworkers notice.

This bottle is the perfect size for a meal replacement shake or 1 or 2 servings of Protein. If you need more than that this bottle is on the small side. It is perfect for my needs as it is not too big or small but just right. It cleans up nicely and doesn't seem to hang on to odors or get funky like some bottles do. Great value and again perfect size.

I have been using this as my daily lunch box for a while and it does the job reasonably well. It is very good looking and well made. I tis very packable for a flexible cooler. The insulation is OK but not great. It will keep things cold but I have to add more ice than other coolers I have used. For the price it is a great value.

I bought this fleece set for my sone as it was a great deal. The top and bottom set were the same price as some tops or bottoms alone. I had some concern that the quality or material might be poor because of the price. I was wrong. It is a very comfortable mid weight fleece that is well constructed. The materials are great as well. Soft, comfortable, and wicks moisture away well. This turned out to be a great value for me and my son. He loves it.

I bought these for my oldest son. He loves them. He wore them on a snowy overnight scout camp recently and his feet were toasty warm. These boots are very well made. I have no doubts they will hold up for as long as they fit him and as hand-me-downs for both of his younger brothers. These are a great value in my experience.

I purchased this for my Apollo Lantern and it worked perfectly. The weight is slightly less than the 4 AA batteries it calls for. The run time is slightly less than what I get from alkaline batteries. All of this said it is still a great purchase. It is very convenient and I have never found myself needing more than this battery provides. It the current price it is a great value and well worth a purchase.

This is not a high quality knife. It is not very sharp. It is also not very expensive. What it is it huge and cool. The design is nice in that it keeps your hands up and away from the plane of the blade so you don't smack your knuckles on anything you are trying to cut. I plan on doing some work to the blade to increase it's sharpness. If you are looking for a high quality tool this might not be it but for the price this will do.

This are a great upgrade for almost any tent. They are very strong, have great holding power, and are lightweight. There are lighter stakes out there but those don't hold as well in the ground. These accomplish their intended purpose much better than others I have used.

It seems that guy lines are an after thought for many tent manufacturers. They are either missing from the tent purchase or are garbage. These are quality reflective lines that are lighter weight and more effective than most original equipment guy lines. The figure 9 is a bonus addition to this value of this set. If you are going to buy a nice tent do three things, Buy a footprint, Replace the stock stakes, and upgrade the guy lines.

I received these for Christmas and so far I am very pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable and are very much Well built. They are definitely Black shoes not quite as light as is shown in the images. The fit is perfect and true to size.

I received this shirt as a gift and I really like the look of it. It can fit in both super chill casual to more formal if needed based on what it is worn with. I really think it to be a good addition to my wardrobe. I am a bigger guy and the XL fits well.

I have always loved Merrell shoes and these do not disappoint. They are very comfortable and nice looking. I have had other similar styled shoes and these are much higher quality and every bit as comfortable. I expect these will last a long time. I typically wear a size 12 in casual shoes and these fit perfectly.

These shoes are really quality made, good looking, and comfortable. I wear a 12 and they are very much true to size. the Soles are very grippy in cold and icy conditions. I know they are not specifically for that but they performed so well in the snow that I felt it was worth a mention. I am confident the looks will only get better as they wear. Quality leather and finish.

This is a very good looking mount. I was so excited to get it as I have the perfect spot on my dash. It works as advertised but with my think case it is a bit too heavy. It will never fall off the mount but it slowly sags over time. I have to adjust where it is positioned because it just won't stay put where i want it. It would probably work better if I didn't have a case on my phone.

I bought this in a pinch because I needed a jacket and it was a great price. I was very pleased. Fit is nice, perfect for a rain coat where you have layers underneath. The only complaint I really have is it sounds like I am wearing a garbage bag when it is cold. This jacket lived up to the Precip hype.

I love this style of glasses from Smith. I originally owned the Factor Max and they were amazing. I used and abused my Factor Max glasses for years and was super bummed to find out they stopped making them. When it was time for a replacement I was guided to these glasses as the replacement. I bought them with some reservation as I was completed sold on the other glasses. I was pleased to discover that the Parallel Max was better. The coverage and comfort were improved with this new design. They look great. I love the brown lenses for fishing and hiking in bright mid day sunlight. I use the Ignitor lenses for early mornings/ evening hiking or in overcast conditions. I also prefer the ignitor lenses when I am mountain biking. They provide sufficient tint to handle bright light and still give me good vision while traveling in and out of tree cover. For comfort, looks, and functionality these are my favorite sunglasses. As far as fit goes. The fit was perfect for my face. My melon is a bit on the larger side and they fit great.
