I got this ski for short side country tours and big mountain freeride,
And couldn't be happier with this ski, it floats so well in powder and it still has enough camber to make getting back to the lift fun. It performed so well in side country tours that I am going to be taking it on a multi day tour on the Roger's Pass. I have it mounted at +5 with the Salomon Guardian, and I love it, it can ski switch in powder, but I can still drive going forward.
Could not be happier!!
This ski ROCKS!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

189 all the way!!!!
I'm 6 ft and 200 lb and I love my 189 for everything, don't worry about carving, they carve just fine, and they work well on the groomers for a ski of this size, and they just kill it in the powder!!
Happy Shredding

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great axe, but it has some flaws to it. I found that it takes quite a bit of technique to make it stick in the ice, but once you get use to it, it is great. I really liked this axe, but I still prefer the Petzls....

Great tool, just requires time to get use to

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this boot for a backpacking trip out in the Rockies, by Canmore.
When we were out there, the weather did not like us, the first day was a socked in day, very cool, and on the second day the skies opened up and it started to pour, when we were on the trail, everyone had wet feet, except me, mine were completely dry, and a few people twisted their ankles(due to lack of ankle support) but I was fine, so when we stopped everyone had cold feet, sore ankles, but me... these boots are amazing, they have great grip, took them on a caving trip, where we had to hike up a ravine, and in the winter, I had such good grip I was helping pull people up the ravine on the hike in, and my feet where dry.

In summary,
This boot rocks,
I have used it for day hikes, backpacking and caving..this boot is amazing.

It has great ankle support and grip
Could not be happier with it!!
=)

Got these boots because my old ones where very painful... but with these ones I have not had a problem. They have such good power to them, they have given me the confidence to charge even bigger lines and hit bigger cliffs. The walk mode is amazing, it is perfect for getting to lines that are out of the way. I can't wait to get back out on them, and I'm super stoked to try some touring on my new set up!!

In summary,
Best Boot Ever!!!
You will not be disappointed!!!
