I had the chance to try this pack out on a couple of recent hikes and as with most Gregory packs, it's a winner. The medium is a 58 L pack. I really like the roll-top style secure top. It also has a nice separate water bladder compartment. The balance and comfort were very good. The only negative I have is with the water bottle pockets, but it's minor. See my complete review at:

This kit fits together nicely and is pretty sturdy. While not the lightest option, it is designed well and is not "heavy". I like to just take the pot, lid and spork... leave the cup at home to save a little weight. As mentioned, the spork feels quite fragile. I like this kit a lot. This is a brand new pack from Mountainsmith. Coming in at about 42 Liters, it's a medium sized pack, but is capable of loads up to 35 lbs. I really like this pack. My favorite feature is Mountainsmith's "Breezeway" suspension system... it totally keeps the pack off your back, allowing air to flow through and cool your back while hiking. See my video review of this pack at: http://www.backpackersreview.com/gear-reviews/backpacks

This is a premium bag. It's a mummy bag, but it's wider than a traditional mummy... which is great for those of us that like to move around while sleeping. It's very warm however, and has some cool features. It has excellent loft and compresses nicely. I have a full video review at backpackersreview.com

I have tried several solar chargers in the past and was always disappointed with their performance. This Goal Zero product has figured it out! Our group used it on a recent expedition to Nepal and it worked flawlessly to charge our iphones and laptops. See my full review at:
