B's Bio

Hiking beats sitting at home any day, especially when there's so much to explore right outside our home. We have five mountain ranges within sixty miles of home - more wilderness acres to explore than any place in the US outside of Alaska. We are empty-nesters who are making up for lost time, proving that it is never too late to get outside and enjoy.

I was expecting a lighter-weight sweater, but I love this thick pile! It is comfortable and the half-zip makes it easy to regulate temperature. As with the other Arcteryx tops that I own, the cut is slim with longer sleeves that can be pulled over the tops of gloves. I would highly recommend this sweater to anyone looking for lightweight warmth.

The waistline is high enough to fit comfortably while low enough to meet current fashion (which is NOT a concern of mine). They ride high enough that my hipbones (and a belt) hold them up. Moisture beads up on the material and dries quickly. My only complaint is that the zippers on the pantlegs are not long enough that I can get the pant bottoms off while wearing hiking boots.
