Affordable trainer tire that will save wear from your normal bike tire. Trainers will wear through your normal road tire very quickly so make sure to buy a trainer tire during those long boring hours on the trainer in the winter. I haven't had any issues with this tire and have used it for 3 months twice a week.

I have been using this headlamp for night time running and XC skiing and it works great. It has an additional strap that goes over the top of your head (not shown in picture) to help keep the headlamp in place. The additional strap is manually added by using a plastic loop that i ended up breaking when putting it together but easily found an alternative (small key chain ring) to make it work..

This is my second Maze helmet, my last helmet was a small but the current small version fits a little bit too tight so i had to change it to a medium. Otherwise a great helmet that is lightweight and stylish.

People forget how important structure is in your ski base it moves water away from your base and prevents a suction slowing you down. This tool is easy to use as long as you have a proper nordic ski bench. It doesn't put the structure too deep in the base so it comes out after a few waxes/uses which is good so you can change up the structure before your next race.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this for my wife to use skate skiing and unfortunately the belt stretches out and sags down low once she gets going, making it more of a hassle. We remedied this by wrapping duct tape around the belt so it would not slacken. If you are doing a less strenuous activity or are a larger person this belt might work just fine, but otherwise would recommend something with burlier straps that stay put in the hardware.

I pretty much only use Toko wax for my nordic skis. Their website gives race wax tips for specific races and takes a lot of the guess work out of choosing the right wax. This wax is small and expensive but is what the top racers are using. I recommend applying it with cork instead of the iron (really hot) to help protect your bases.

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 110 lbs
Size Purchased: small

Purchased as a gift for my wife and this is her new favorite for layering and apres. She has worn it comfortably skiing all day on storm days and it stays dry. Kangaroo pouch is a plus for keys and snacks. She has a small frame and the small has a loose fit but not too bulky.

4frnt built an amazing ski that has the shape and width to float bottomless pow but also made it stiff enough to handle the variable snow conditions that you are going to run into. I wasn't sure of the ski at first because i thought it would be too stiff of a powder ski but 4 "powder" days at snowbird have made me realize how great of a ski it is. 1 of the days had a rime crust and these skis powered through it with the full rocker making it easy to turn. One day was wind affected and the stiffness of the skis really helped with the variable snow. The 2 deep days were a blast with these skis easily floating through the snow.

The skis come with a flat base that has a nice structure edge to edge tuned by twin peaks repair shop in Utah. This is a big deal if you are currently on another pair of independently made skis where the bases are usually not flat. Thank you 4frnt for putting in the time and effort to make a flat ski.

This ski now comes with a plastic piece on the tail which you can file to make skin attachment secure.

These tires as described are low profile and fast rolling. They have more volume then other race tires and the EXO sidewall gives it some extra strength in the sidewall. I've ripped through two small block 8s sidewalls in 2 months and haven't had a problem with these sidewalls. This is a popular tire in Utah.

I have the Salomon RS Carbon the first skate ski boots that i found to fit snug before i was on the Atomic Sport pro which let my foot swim too much in the boot Having a skate ski boot that is light and gives me control of the ski has vastly improved my skate ski times.
