I'm 5'10" 155lbs and got these in the 173's and I got them for east coast skiing thinking I would mostly take them out when we got fresh snow. However, I just took them out on one of the iciest days I have seen in a over a year and they performed really well.
They...
Held an edge really well on ice and groomers
Super Stable at high speed
Busted through crud really well.

I plan to use these skis in all conditions, these skis are SICK!

These pots work great, the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because they are so expensive, sure they are light I mean they seem a little on the pricey side. Other than that though everything worked fine with them i was able to make pasta with them and use the strainer in the lid which was very convenient.

This stove is truely amazing, it boils water incredibly fast and is very light. Everybody seems to complain about how loud it is but I really dont see that as a problem. Sure, it may be louder than your average stove but it is really not that noticeable, nor is it difficult to talk over, as other reviews have suggested. I made pasta on it in no time and was pleasantly surprised with its very good fuel consumption.

This tent is soo awesome, it took me ten minutes at the most to set it up the first time I did it. It is very waterproof but also allows breathability. It is an exceptional value for the price. It is very light especially if you split the components into multiple peoples packs....The one thing I dont like is that it would be very uncomfortable to fit 4 people in it, however, I only plan to use it for 2-3 so thats fine for me. Marmot thought everything out when they designed this tent and it really is a well designed piece of gear!

Pros:
-Compression straps make it really thin.
-The hydration sleeve is nice to have
-aluminum frame makes for a nice fit to your back
-The zipper opens really big so you can easily acces things in the bottom of the bag
-Back pannel zipper is awesome
Cons:
-My roommate has this bag and he says the straps loosen through out the day and have to be retightened
-Hydration pocket is pretty small and doent fit my stoaway 100 liter but its fin, i just hang it in the bag.
-If you have the avalung it doesnt compress down as much

I just got this bag and havent had a chance to use it. However, I have used my roommate's and it fits really nice and doesnt budge while you are skiing. It is a little to thick to have behind you on the lift but that is no big deal since you can keep the waist strap hooked and rotate it around so its on your lap. The bag is very high quality and i plan to use it for a bunch of summer and winter activities, not just skiing. I will amend my review once I have been using the bag for a while.

i have the large bag and it has been able to handle everything i have thrown at it, the desert of mexico, the mountains of kyrgyzstan, azerbaijan, moscow, amsterdam, berlin, greece. whenever i travel, i bring this bag and I am not gentle with it and it still looks great. the backpack straps get uncomfortable on walks longer than 3 miles but thats no big surprise. my biggest complaint is that i have too much room to overpack...I dont expect this bag to fail any time soon and i look foreward to many more years of use!! the cinch straps work great! if you are considering buying this bag, DO IT you wont regret it although make sure you can carry what you pack in it!

Pros:
Has wrist gators
20k waterproof
nice fit
good amount of pockets
quality construction(mostly)
warm

Cons:
-I think the wrist gators are poorly made, they arent reinforced, it looks like they just cut a hole in the material.
- the magnetic buttons are kinda awkward when trying to unzip the jacket because they snap back together as you are unzipping.
- wish there was an internal zippered pocket
- I have heard the magnets in the jacket MIGHT interfere with beacons especially the ones with magnetic switches like the Pieps DSP

other:
this is a great jacket with a lot of neat little trinkets and features that make it really convenient....the quality of the main components of the jacket is great however, the quality of the extra features isnt great.
It also runs pretty baggy, i am happy with a medium and i am 5'10" 160lbs
