the union flite binding is a great binding for the money.
i have many friends who ride this binding. smaller dudes who are looking for light weight set ups. one buddy rides these on his pipe board. my friend in utah has flite's on his split set up since they are so light, simple and durable with aluminum buckles. great binding for someone to progress their ability level.
i'm not a heavy guy.
i like a soft pow board, charlie slasher, heard of him.
this binding is light and the high back is so forgiving.
good surfy ride in pow.
everything about the force this year is new. baseplate, high back, bushing design, heel loop, straps, buckles.
way lighter then the force binding of the past. more responsive in the baseplate then the atlas bindings i was riding for a couple seasons.
i can't wait to get my hands on these for the season.
i had the opportunity to ride them for a few days this past spring.
i forgot i was riding something different.
the eva in the baseplate allows a ton of board flex and dampens out vibrations. such a solid feeling underfoot. the high back is great update, super comfortable. new straps are boss.
here's a couple:
adjustable aluminum heel loop.
universal mounting discs.
compatible on any mounting pattern.
i rode the factory at the demo and was super curious to how different thy were then the union super pro binding they make for shop team and shop kids. one thing i noticed right away was the mellow canting. the eva canting is comfortable and seemed to offer a damper ride. i wasn't surprised there. more eva on the gas pedal. my favorite thing about the factory was the new sonic fused straps. call them what you want, but they are really comfortable around your boot. i felt no strap pressure.
i'd be stoked to ride this binding all season, great binding for a bigger rider
