Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Because 99% of the time on my mystery. It's that much better. Lighter, faster, snappier, smoother and holds a carve like a T7. And it can be playful and surfy. I love this board. It's nothing like the Method -- i know some have drawn similarities (without riding both i might add).

Okay, no reviews on this board yet so i took the plunge and ponyed up. True, I got it for an amazing price (under a G) but still crazy money for a board. So how does it stack up? Well, i bought the first year Method which was a V rocker and i thought it was too stiff - it washed out so i sold it immediately.

This board is different. It rides with the aggression of a T6/T7, it has the thin light weight feel of a Vapor, all with the forgiveness and playfulness of a Joystick. I think the Flying V is the perfect shape for this one. It's poppy and fast and when you hit a kicker you float away like there's helium in your boots.

But is is worth it?

To me no board is worth 1500. But, on sale, the answer is HELL YES.

I love these boots. I've had the ion, the hail and f20. This boot beats them all. It the boa system is unbeatable because you can adjust it as you go. loose for the park, tight for carving and somewhere in the middle for the big kickers. The articulated cuff is so comfy and the air liner works to keep the heel snug. DC is a slick company and does a lot of advertising so at first i wasn't sure, but these really deliver the goods. Not too stiff either. great boot.
