A good touring board that represents, as with AT skis, a compromise between touring function and riding performance. I have the 166cm that seems to ride more like a 160. I had to modify the skins to hook over the tails. Except for on hard pack, not much performance is lost by the split system. But it is weak on traverses, and I would give it 1 out of 5. The half-board that you ski is too torsionally weak and not stiff enough under foot to work on hard pack. Moreover, the binding system, together with the width of the ski, makes it incredibly difficult to hold an edge. Overall, then, a ripper board for soft snow, not bad in spring conditions if you modify the skins, but stay at home if the route is firm (e.g., morning freeze at high altitude) and traverses are involved.
