True to size and lovely!! 31" inseam equivalent for sure and great for calf or knee high footwear / boots! High waist for sure (5' foot/feet 5" inches & top of waist sits 1-2" inches above belly button). Effing hot denim...best value for [already] worn n torn look!!!

I trust these boots. That's saying a lot right there. Whether its raining, snowing or icy, I'm never on the fence about what to wear. The Bern Baby Bern boots by Keen have amazing soles that I never find myself slipping in or letting moisture in. They're so comfortable, keep me warm and totally dry in rain, sleet and snow. The opening is the perfect size - I can rock the sock toppers without feeling constricted while on the other hand, when I'm going with the boot on denim look, they lay flush. But for all those ladies out there who are calf-conscious, the belt-like strap is there to accommodate your calves, no matter how big or small they are :) The shaft of this boot was definitely built with a ladies figure in mind - like I said the opening is the perfect size and then it tapers down to the ankle (with enough room to roll or smush your not-so-skinny jeans) and then it tapers out a touch to connect with the sole, leaving a good sized space for your thin or thick socks. The sizing is totally a true fit - if you measure out to an 8, buy an 8. That's what I wear and bought in these boots and again, regardless if I wear thick or thin socks, this boot still fits great.
Waterproof, slip proof, and fashion friendly - well-rounded and stylish...highly recommend these!

My husband is the local handy-man and puts all work pants through the wringer. The Carhartt Loose-fit Canvas Carpenter Denim Pant are by far his favorite because they withstand a lot of wear and tear and they're extremely comfortable to work in. The denim is definitely thicker than average but it's got elasticity to the material so it makes for ease of high motion and movement. He's 5' 11" and 190 lbs, traditionally wears a 34 waist & 32 inseam and the 34 fit great. The 32 inseam is also dead on. He purchased a total of three Carhartt Loos-fit Cangas Carpenter Denim Pant pairs and they all fit the same. He recommends these for any guy but highly recommends them especially for his fellow handy-men :)

I just introduced my hubby to Pendleton - the finest brand of men's functional flannel - with the Burnside long sleeve and now he's got five more in his wishlist. Simply put, Pendleton Burnside feels great, fits perfect and eliminates the need for multiple layers in colder temps. He's 5' 11" and 190 lbs and the large fit perfect both in the arms and the torso. All of the pendleton flannels tend to be a little longer than similar flannels by other brands but the length works great whether you like to tuck it in or not. It's extremely soft and doesn't irritate in the arms or wrists. The arm length is perfect for him. Not much else to say...I highly recommend the Burnside for all you lumbersexuals out there!

K so I thought this sweater would be like your traditional thick polyester but it's very thin and that's the only thing I was caught off guard by. BUT regardless, it does what it's intended to do - keep me warm and look good at the same time. Arguably it's very thin, but it still keeps me warm, dry and wicks moisture inside and out. It's steezed out like Volcom always does so whether you're rockin it solo or wearing it under your vest, it makes your outfit with it's edgy action sports look.
It does not run big but it's longer than your average hoodie both in the arms and the center back length which is great for any high motion activity such as snowboarding or skiing. I'm 5' 5" and 125 lbs and the small fit perfect throughout the arms, the torso and the waist. The bottom hem sits mid-cheek (yep! I said cheek :P) and the hem at the wrist (or the top of the cuff) sits just below my thumb knuckle or about 1 inch past my wrist bone. The cuff length starts at the same point and the end of the cuff rests on my finger knuckles. The thumb sleeve is not abrasive at all so if you have longer arms and are worried about the thumb sleeve cutting into your skin when extending your arms, don't stress - it's elastic and soft.
The hood is large but not stiff at all - whether your steezin out with your hood on or shielding your eyes from sideways rain/ snow, it's versatile for both. I do like that the hood connects below the collar as it comes in handy when I'm shielding my nose, mouth and chin but don't need cover my stylish hair (hahahahaa) - point being the Volcom Covey Full-Zip Hoodie protects your chinny chin chin with the high top collar and if needs be, your ears too with the hoodie. And yeah, that about sums it up now buy it before your gal pals do!

They look AND work great!!! Fit true to size - daughter is 10, a little over 4' feet tall, 70 lbs, and is currently wears 2 and 3 sizes - got the 3 and although it's a touch to big, the lacing and heel mold help keep her foot in place + she'll be able to wear these next season (fingers crossed) and if not, these things are so durable that when I hand em down, they'll still be in great condition. My daughter is starting to develop her own sense of style and these are something she likes to wear. We both get compliments every time she wears them. The best part though is that between the Omni-Heat liner and the Waterproof exterior, they do what they're supposed to...keep her warm and dry in the wind, rain and snow so I'm worry-free when I send her on her way to school. I absolutely recommend the Columbia Minx Mid Omni-Heat Waterproof Boot - Girls!!!!!

Bought these for my husband; He's 5' 11" and 190 lbs - 34 fit great in the waist. As far as the 32" inseam, they were just an inch longer than he liked - he's not a fan of floods or ankle-baggage but these were neither of those...just a little less than perfect for him. His favorite thing about the Nova Solver Denim Pants is the stretch/ elasticity that comes with sitting, bending, moving around. He said that he doesn't need to constantly adjust or pull them up or down like he normally does with his other traditional brand name denim. I got the dark rinse for him so he has something nice to wear to holiday events and activities - the "rinse indigo" fares so well for that! All in all, the man's comfortable and looks great!

My kiddo wears shoe sizes 2 and 3, and the medium works great! The sock rise comes up to just above her mid calf (she's a little over 4' feet tall). Her biggest complaint about winter socks is when they itch - this sock is soft; definitely NOT itchy at all - she hasn't complained once. THey are the only warm sock I can get her to wear. These are also quite low in price compared to similar socks, and compare quite well in regards to warmth and moisture wicking. She wears them on the mountain and to school under her winter boots - loves them...which makes me love them. I recommend the Bridgedale Merino Ski Sock for all active, itch-hating, winter-loving grade-schoolers!

Okay so the Nuptse 2 jacket is of course very good looking on the rack and on your bod! The 700 down keeps you very toasty - perfect for 34 degrees and below (in my opinion) but I have to take it off after the outside temp gets any higher than 40 degrees.
I'm 5' 5" and 125 lbs and the small worked well, although it's a little shorter than I had expected in the back so if you bend over, it comes up above your waist line, while it rests at the waist line when sitting up straight. On that note, I recommend it for casual use vs. riding on the mountain or any physical activity that requires a lot of mid-body motion. You'll be pulling it down a lot if you plan to wear it skiing or snowboarding. It's puffy but not obnoxiously puffy and yeah, that about sums it up. It's really cute on and keeps me really warm - I definitely recommend the women's North Face Nuptse 2 Down Jacket!

My 10 year old daughter is a little over 4' feet tall, weighs about 70 lbs (on the shorter and lighter side of your average female 10 year old) and we got the medium. It's the perfect size with a enough room to grow and use the next year.
More importantly, she loves the look and the fact that it's reversible - no more swindling or begging her to where her jacket on the way to school and no more worrying about her wearing during outside school activities - now I have to ask her to take it off hah! OH and she told me that the hand pockets are really warm and she likes that her hands can warm up quickly when playing outside.
The jacket is top notch for wind, rain and snow - I highly recommend The North Face Moondoggy Reversible Down Jacket for your grade-school divas! It's cute so they enjoy wearing it and for parents, it keeps us worry-free while they're playing in the gorgeous winter season!

I ordered this "jacket" for myself; I was really excited at face value as it looked a little bit more like a thick sweater but The North Face Insulated Darella Hooded Jacket is definitely a jacket. It does fit true to size (ordered a small, I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs) but it's shorter than I had hoped - bottom hem rises above waist line when bending over and rests at the waist line when sitting up straight at a 90 degree angle.
I'm not super stoked on the look of it but it's going to keep me warm and a scarf will definitely steeze it up a little. Over all, I'm happy with it but just wished for a little less of the puffy-jacket look and feel to it. I recommend it for a casual functionality vs. riding or being active.

Great packaging first of all - they came in a hard plastic (lol kind of coffin shaped) box. Came with an extra set of "silicone gel tips" which is always nice. Gel tips are cushy and comfy - a little movement during hi-intensity workouts due to perspiration and rigorous movement but nothing I haven't experienced with other brands or other Skullcandy ear bud accessories. It's compatible with and performs consistently with my android, my ipad, and my laptop. The sound is GREAT for most modes - really surprised at how well these put out sound without vibration on heavier bass. The mic works just fine for hands free - both talking to others and controlling music and calls. All in all, if you like in-the-ear, these have proven to be the best bang for your buck and then some. I tend to lose or break my audio accessories so I've purchased quite a few of these (hah!) but I don't get too upset given the price of the Smokin Buds 2 with Mic1. So yeah, low price, high quality, BEST VALUE!

I got the 27 oz Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Water Bottle (http://www.backcountry.com/klean-kanteen-wide-mouth-water-bottle) bought this cafe cap for the ease of grab and go drinks on my commute and at work. It has definitely made me a happy driver and co-worker :) Nice to have both that and the loop cap that all Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth water bottles come with.
One thing that matters most to me in a water bottle is the ability to throw it in the dishwasher and not have the chemicals comprise the integrity of the look, the lining or the seal. This lives up to what it claims and I've put both my Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Water Bottle and Cafe Cap through daily use for over 6 months now. I totally recommend this cafe cap and the water bottle linked above!

I got the 27 oz and it's a little shorter than the height of a traditional milk container (gallon jugs) and about as wide as a can of soup.
I also bought the cafe cap (http://www.backcountry.com/klean-kanteen-caf-cap) for the ease of grab and go drinks on my commute and at work. Nice to have both that and the loop cap that this one comes with.

I got this for use around the house and camping. It's come in handy quite a bit in both aspects. I had a tendency to lose pocket knives quite often so I purchased this one for it's fold up size and slide it in with the blade on the inside of my back pocket - perfect size for that. It's been really easy to open from the get go and even with just one hand. This knife has been used to cut thick rope, open cardboard boxes as well as cut off cardboard flaps, cut rags from towels, make marsh mellow sticks from both dry and wet wood, etc. and the blade hasn't really dulled much....we got it 6 months ago and it's been sharpened once 3 weeks ago before we left on the last camping trip of the year here in UT... : [. Good all-around pocket knife!

They are that awesome! The Bearpaw Emma Short Boots - women's are one of my favorite footwear - they are so damn cute, and even more comfortable, and do what they look like they'll do - keep my toes cozy and warm. They fit true to size (regularly a size 8 in casual foot wear and knee high boots, and size 8 fit great) both fresh out of the box and 20 uses later. The "short" edition height comes up on me (5' 5", 32" from heel to bottom of fly/ zipper) at just about the middle of my ankle bone and bottom of my knee cap.
They are NOT waterproof and that's okay; Bearpaw doesn't claim them to be...I'm just calling out for all of you who may be wondering. And if you're like me, than a little water-stain prevention on my suede footwear is important and I recommend that you add some Nikwax (http://www.backcountry.com/nikwax-fabric-and-leather-spray-twin-pack-125ml?ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6d2VhdGhlciBwcm9vZiBzcHJheToxOjI6d2VhdGhlciBwcm9vZiBzcHJheQ&skid=NIK0073-ONECOL-ONESIZ) to the same order! Last thing here with Emma...they will last you a long, long time before you need to replace them with a new set. The tred is pretty durable, the suede doesn't fade out if protected from wet conditions and the lining remains full of life for quite some time (around a year of frequent use)!

North Face did a good job with this jacket. It keeps my husband warm in cold or windy weather and looks good while he's workin hard or playin hard. It fits true to size throughout the arms and torso - he's 5'11 and weighs about 175 pounds ( lbs ) and the large was accurate. So why not 5 stars...1. I thought it was a 2-for-1 deal where it could be worn with the flannel on the outside and also worn reversed - maybe it is but it doesn't look good both ways...it looks and feels normal as it's described above (flannel lining on the inside). And 2. It's longer than average (between 1-2 inches), both vertically and in the arms. The man-friend says the added length makes it look a tad bit baggy which is not his thang - but hey maybe it's yours :)
We give one strong thumbs up for he North Face Fort Point Flannel Jacket and recommend it to YOU!

My husband has a close cut and as we all know, your entire body feels cold when your head or feet get cold. He's the beer guy and the beer doesn't stop flowing during the winter...if anything, winter begs for more! The wicked north face beanie hit the nail right on the head (and yes, all pun intended). Stays put, keeps his noggin and ears warm & dry but doesn't irritate. It looks sharp and it's employer approved too. So I hooked him up with two more :) I totally recommend getting one for you too!

He's 5'12" heavy set, lives in UT (where the weather is totally unpredictable all year long) and installs network for a living (so the guy is outside and is constantly moving his arms and body). I got him the 3XL in solid black and it fit perfect in the arms and around his torso and beer belly :). The bottom of the sleeves rest just passed his wrists, the bottom of the coat rests a couple inches below his waste - he loves the length because it doesn't rise above his belt when sitting or bending down. The logo is small enough that it still met his employer's dress code so he was happy about that. He put it to the test at work the week after and said he had no issues whatsoever with moving his arms in any direction. It's keeps him dry for upwards of an hour in a steady (more than a light sprinkle for sure) rainfall but has to put a raincoat on for roof work in heavy rain or snow. He gets a little warm when he's zipped up for a while in the spring and fall but nothing out of the norm. He LOVES the tuck in hood too..."comes in handy and tucks away when I don't need it." All in all, the mens North Face Resolve Jacket is now my dad's go-to jacket!

First and foremost, the design and look of these boots are what caught my attention and in person, they look exactly like the pic.
Secondly and even better, I slipped my foot in to be pleasantly surprised with the cushy foot bed!!! No breaking in time - the first go round felt like they weren't new - the leather is so flexible and bends from the get go, the foot bed has a layer of something similar to memory foam so the sole confirms to your foot, the laces are a little stiff but it's actually a good thing when tucking them away, and lastly the zipper didn't stick and although that may seem silly to highlight, it's important to me that on a pair of tall boots, there's a smooth zip to get out the door quick and fast.
These are true to size but if you're stuck on sizing, go smaller - I wear a size 8 in most brands of boots and the Born Lecia size 8 is a tad roomier in the base and the higher calf area, than my other boots.
Lastly, the height and look/ feel of the top - I'm 5' 5" and from my heel to my knee cap, that measures about 19 or 20 inches; the top sits about an inch below my knee cap - the shaft height is dead on 17.25 inches and I love the height. The top is neither constraining or roomy, it's perfect from the top through the calf (mine = 13 inch around) down to the ankle.
