Bikes, bikes, bikes... I ride road and mountain, and race cyclocross, and occasionally commute... However, it's tough when the commute involves a ride from Salt Lake City to Park City. Myself and a few other brave souls have made the trek from SLC to the office quite a few times. It's a great ride via Millcreek Canyon. It's never bad when your commute begins and ends on awesome single trakc... We have also made the commute using highway 80 from Immigration Canyon on the road (NOT recommended)...
My mountain rides are those that I can crush on my fully rigid single speed (Bianchi SASS). Mountain is always choice. How could it not be given my location?
I am a much better climber than I am a flats rider. Thus, I prefer my road rides to be long and steep. If possible, this involves riding isolated stretched of highway wherever I can find them.
Cyclocross: "Pure, Sweet, Pain." I love every minute of it, especially on a single speed...

shaogrady2033044, what size do you need?
The Brezza Due Vest does not have mesh insert. The peace is meant to be worn over a jersey and not be loose fitting. Thus, it is not super race cut but at the same time it's not as loose as a commuter piece tends to be. Please keep in mind that Castelli does fit smaller than the typical US sizing. Thus, it is a good idea to size up if you have any doubts. The good news? It you need to return it, backcountry.com offers a 100% guarantee!
If I were you, I'd call the customer solutions crew at backcountry and see if it is a service that they offer. If not, at least you tried. And you never know maybe they'll give you the $50 off for wanting to be green. Kinda a long shot, but worth a try.
Duder - The red is seriously red. Not Brown. You might dig this - Brooks Heritage Saddles Leather Bar TapeItem - BHS0045. It's brown bar tape.
I have the SL version of the this pedal and love 'em. They are priced right, light, and perform as advertised. I did have a warranty claim on them but that was taken care of fast and without question. All in all these are a great line of pedals. I highly recommend them.
Andy - The customer solutions department at bc.com are pretty dialed and can answer questions like this really quickly. Call them at (800) 409-4502.
Mike - Nothing Shimano makes has a rider weight limit. So, ride on!
Jonathan - These are the 2009 model. The MP3 program is available for all wheels purchased through an authorized Mavic retailer. The MP3 card must be purchased at the same time as the wheel/wheelset. Lastly, you must register on line within seven days of purchasing your MP3 protection. See this link for details and product registration info - http://www.mp3-mavic.com/mp3details.asp
Andrew - These bad boys are sold as pairs as are all our grips.
I have had this stand for about a year. It has every thing a home stand should and more. It's super stable and can be pared with the flop stop handle bar holder, and the tool tray to keep thing organized. Highly recommended product & brand.
This helmet features great venting combined with light-weight design. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. However, for 175 bucks I expect a bit more. The size adjustment in the back of the helmet is a bit dated. For example, it's tough to get the adjustment even on both sides. Additionally, the fit isn't dead on for me. This results in hot spots if I where only the helmet and no liner. I'd really like to see Giro offer 2 different fits... Wishful thinking...
These are great grips for the money. They keep there grip when wet & after visible wear. I'm on my second pair (2 bikes) and will get these again for sure. Bottom Line: Great quantity & reliable design. It's Salsa, after all.
These shoes are compatible with all types of SPD pedal cleat combos including Campy...
This tube has a schrader valve NOT presta. Later!
This shoe has a ton of cushion. However, this makes for an unstable ride on technical steep downhills. The major disappointment with these shoe is their poor quality. The material on the toe box has ripped straight across on two pairs of these- and I had never run in them. Due to this I cannot recommend these shoes.
