Best kid's rock shoe
5 5

We love this kid's shoe. It performs well, but mostly it costs less than all the competitors. And as a parent, that matters...cause my kid's feet grow too fast. The updated heel velcro works well to customize fit. This allowed me to buy them big and get more miles out of them. I can fit a size 11 on my 3 yr old (size 8t foot) or my 5 yr old son (size 11t foot). It is big on the younger child, but they aren't climbing hard enough for it to matter.
Rubber is decently sticky and stiff foot bed really helps them versus just climbing in a tennis shoe.
If I could change anything, I'd re-work the velcro. Seems silly, but the velcro is so large and strong, my kids often cannot get it undone. And when you have three kids climbing...it is nice not to HAVE TO help with shoes. Also my oldest daughter has a narrow foot, I have trouble getting the velcro tight enough. I think they would be made even better if there were two velcro straps on the tongue, allowing for an even more custom fit.

A girl lovin this "men's shoe"
5 5

This is not my first climbing shoe, I am coming from the La sportiva, Nago and a variety of Evolv shoes. I was sceptical, especially with the gel-injected heel. But love them. They are the most comfortable shoe I've had (my foot shape: wide toe box, narrow heel). But they have performed well so far in every situation I've put them: gym mostly 5.10 range, trad multi-pitch, granite crack/face, sandstone. I spend a lot of time in my shoes, so the gooshy heel is nice. People have complained of orange dyed feet...not had that problem. Overall, I love these shoes, they perfrom as well as my more expensive La Sportiva's. I guess we'll see how long they last!
