Alma's Bio

I'm an explorer of both urban and natural settings. I love to hike, camp, climb or take on whatever adventures life has in store. I enjoy the mysteries and processes of life and the human condition.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

This is my second pair of the New Wayfarers. I change the lenses and use them as regular (not sun) prescription glasses. With simple, classic, no-nonsense design it's no surprise why the Wayfarers have been around since the '50's. The smaller size of the New version is a much better fit for people with smaller faces.

The Rucksack is a classic old school design that looks as good now as it did 30 years ago. The perfect size for day hikes, overnighters or even a weekend jaunt into the wood. The removable size pouches give you the option to go minimal or pack it on. Love the padded laptop sleeve and the huge top pock. It's made of super durable material, so it can take on whatever the adventure has to throw at it. A classic never goes out of style.

Fill your ears with dulcet tones and jams. These headphones have great sound and are solidly built. House of Marley's commitment to using recycled and renewable resources give you an altruistic buzz to amplify your listening pleasure. The controls on the chord are a great addition, making is so you don't have to mess with the ipod to change the volume or pause/play the track. My one complaint is that they are a little small. Fully extended they are still a little tight on my head and the pressure can become bothersome. All in all very impressive. House of Marley does an excellent job living up to the the Marley name.

When looking for a barefoot shoe, I wanted something simple and subtle that would allow my foot to move as it would were I actually barefoot. I found that with the Trail Glove. With a narrower heel cup and a wider toe box help make it anatomically conducive, but it's not over the top. When I first tried them on the space in the toe box felt a little weird, but when I started running I noticed that extra space allowed my foot expand and move as it needed to. It gives the protection you need with as little shoe feel as possible.
