Alexandra's Bio

I am originally form Germany and moved to Utah 10 years ago when my husband retired from 20 years in the Army. He was not willing to move back to his home state California. A friend of ours had told us about the incredible snow in Utah. Up until that point the European Alps were our playground for skiing.

A few years have past since and our outdoor activities have increased/changed - trail running, mountain biking, hiking and telemarking.

My personal goal the next few years is to thrue hike the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) to raise money for breast cancer research.

See you on the trail :)

I received these boots as a gift. At first I had mixed feelings about the boots, but this changed very quickly. These boots are great for town outings in cold weather. As the side opening starts to drop they look even cooler. I also like the fact that I don't have to wear socks and my feet stay dry and warm!
True to size.

Believe it or not, my husband and I have had this watch when it first came on the market about 13 years ago. To this day we still love it. For an outdoor enthusiast there is nothing better. This watch is very functional. It is light weight (you don't want a pound of watch to pull your arm down when you're running); You can actually see the numbers (no glasses needed to read the time, altitude, barometer or compass). My son loves it as well. He's in the military and wouldn't change the watch for any other.

He's lucky, because I bought the first pair for myself and loved them. After he saw me being so happy with these he wanted a pair as well. So I got him the 3/4 length ones and he is just as stoked about it as I am.

The size is true. In other words, if you usually wear an XL you want to get the XL. These are tight and that's the way these are supposed to be. Also, when you pull them up, pull them from the bottom, not on the waistband.

I am an adult woman, medium size all around, except my head. It is slightly smaller then medium and a little larger then small. However, this beanie fits so great! I can flip the brim up or leave it down and it looks awesome. It feels great! Most of all, I get compliments left and right. You may think it may not fit a regular medium head. Well, you're wrong. What you may want to know as well, you can through it into the wash-machine :)
