Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Let me start out by saying that I absolutely love volkl skis. I ski on shiros currently. Had the opportunity to demo this ski alongside the Blizzard Bonafide and Salomon Enduro. But this ski did not feel like a volkl. It just wasn't super fun to ski. It was super stiff, yes, but that is not a deal breaker for me as I am an advanced skier. If you are not an advanced skier, this ski will kick you in the butt, as it wants to go fast and hard, and unless you are aggressive enough to push it, it will bounce you around. I didn't like the flex patter in it. It didn't feel snappy and quick, but kinda sluggish. It carved surprisingly well, and held an edge when I wanted it to. In comparison to the other skis I demoed, and my opinion, this ski ranked last out them all. I was disappointed, as I was really hoping I would like these skis. Now, I have Blizzard Bonafides coming in the mail. Test them out before you buy. Some probably like them, but not my favorite ski.

Had the opportunity to test this ski out for a day at Lake Tahoe. Really enjoyed this ski. It is stiff and snappy, which is something I like to have on those hardpack days. It holds an edge well for carving, and it was one of my favorite skis I have ever skied on. I demoed the Volkl Kendo and the Blizzard Bonafide, and this ski, in my opinion, was better than the Volkl Kendo, but not better than the Blizzard Bonafide. Overall, a great ski. You won't be disappointed.

Great Softshell. It is surprisingly warm. I don't like it as much as an acto mx hoodie for aerobic activities, but around the town and bad weather it does better. I am 6'1" 165 lbs and a large fits me very well. The chest pockets are a little awkward in configuration, but that is a small gripe. Overall great arcteryx quality you can expect.

This is one of my favorite flannels, which explains why I have all three designs. It is warm and soft, and for me, the sleeves fit wonderfully, something that a lot of companies have a problem with. I am 6'1" 165 lbs and a Large fits me well. I love these shirts for cold fall days, and for staying inside and watching the snow fall. Great shirt

This jacket is incredibly light. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in cold conditions, but I doubt it will have a problem keeping me warm with the 850 fill-power down inside it. Excited to take it out for some cold weather attempts, then I will edit to include my impressions. I am 6'1" 165 lbs, went with a large for arm length. Plenty of room to layer under. Wish it did fit a little bit more trim like the new arcteryx cerium, but this will hopefully still function as well.

I have only had this jacket for a few days, and I already can see why I always return to Arc'teryx over other brands. I haven't been able to use it in cold conditions yet, but I can tell you how the fit and feel of it goes. I am a skinny tall guy with long arms; 6'1", 165 pounds. Most other down jackets, like the patagonia down sweater or the mountain hardware ghost whisperer down jacket don't fit me well. In order to get the sleeves to the right length, I have to have the arms and torso be super roomy. Not exactly preferable for thermal efficiency. This jacket fits me like all other arcteryx pieces do. I went with a large for some layering underneath, but it fits so much more athletically and is built for slim tall people. The arms, torso, and hood all fit like they should on someone like me. Very happy with my purchase, can't wait to try it out this winter.

This is one of my favorite pant styles that I own. They are super useful for just about whatever, from winter camping and snowshoeing in the spring. Nice fit, perfect amount of bagginess, great feel, one of my favorites.

This carabiner is super light, lighter than most other lockers I have ever seen before. it has a very unique shape about it. I would mainly use it for anchors, not belaying. I like the fact that i can see whether it is locked or not based on the red coloring near the screwlock. Definitely not the strongest or burliest, but a Great carabiner.
