Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

Haven' t had a chance to ride in these yet, but first impression is that these are a much more modern fit than my old pants (3+ years old). These still sit lower on my waist, but the crotch is higher to allow for more freedom of movement. All 4 pockets are double velcro, which makes me not worry about carrying stuff in there. Material feels durable and sheds water while remaining soft and flexible.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large

I'll admit it. I am a track jacket freak. I own >10 and this is my current fav. I am a big guy (6 ft, broad shoulders) and the XXL is a little large on me. If you want a slim fit you may want to order a size down. The material is very stretchy and snag resistant. It's very breathable, but perfect for cool days without a ton of wind. I wear it all day at work with the sleeves pushed up and it still looks like new after a month of daily wear. Excellent quality and it looks great!

I've owned a few different hydration packs, though this is my first Osprey. I am very impressed with the quality of materials, and the thought that went into the design. The Zealot 10 is probably a better pick size wise for most people, but I have a large frame and it fits my back like a glove. Very comfortable whether crammed full or just carrying some water. Padded, contoured straps make me forget I'm wearing it at times. Very breathable mesh allows my back to catch enough of a breeze that I don't end up soaked. Tons of pockets in ergonomic locations rounds out an amazing pack for bombing hills, dodging cars, day hikes, canoe trips, etc...
