Aleksey N. Prokhorovwrote a review of Sorel Yoot Pac TP Boot - Boys' on April 3, 2013
...then I washed up the boots, I see that natural rubber heel's counters was burst (see images).
At this pair of boots I see that natural rubber is softer and thinner in compare with another Sorel that we have.
And I think that rubber not up to the end passed curing…
At result, heel's counters are softer than leather up. Counters are bending, rumpling, and burst (see video).
We have: Sorel Maverick Men's Winter Boot Sz.9, Sorel Joan of Arctic Boot Women's Sz.7 and 6 - all made in China, bayed at US, all items without defects;
and at previously kid has Sorel Yoot Pac TP Boot Boys', Black, Sz.13 - made in China, bayed at RU.
He using Yoot Pac Sz.13 by 2.5 seasons without any problems - all parts was good, and rubber heel's counters too. I've sell Sz.13 (second-hand).
I don't understand that happened with good Sorel's quality. Previously I've buy Sorel brand without any questions.
I've buy Sorel Yoot Pac TP Boots at backcountry.com with delivery to Russia through US intermediary...
Backcountry.com - good company. They can change boots... But with shipping via USA only. Totally I've paid 36$ by shipping (to RU). If I send it back and receive again, I need to pay 72$ again...
I've asked Sorel (CA, US, EU) to change boot at RU or EU, or take boots at RU and refund...
But no solution.
Now I think, that Chinese made Sorel I'll not buy anymore!
