Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wore this out on a 54 F day with rain and was comfortable. Temps after the rain got up to 59 F. Although it is not waterproof, it kept the water off of my head. My head did not overheat, and the very thin materiel fit well under my helmet that usually doesn't have enough space for a cotton cycling cap to fit comfortably. The cap fit is a bit large, which is nice because most cycling caps do not cover enough of my head to look good and feel comfortable. Usually the straps of the helmet are on top of the folds of the hat creating pressure points. I would recommend this to anyone who rides in cool temps and rain. Save money on the Assos Rain Cap and buy this!

I first bought the medium, because my head size was at the limit of the M size helmet. It was very uncomfortable with lots of pressure points etc. So I returned it and bought a large. The large is too big and looks goofy. I can live with it because it can cinch down on my head, but I am finding it to have a lot of pressure points also. I would return it, but I already cut the super long chin strap. I have since purchased a Kask Veritgo, and find it to be the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I love Cateye. I have the V3 on 5 bikes and was disappointed that they discontinued it. I needed a new computer for another bike, so I tried this. It arrived today and will be returned because it does not have a strap or sensor. If you do not read the description carefully, you will not know that it does not include heart rate strap and cadence and speed sensor. All you get is the useless computer. But Competitive Cyclist does provide a nice picture of the Strap and sensor that you do not get. LAME!
