Adam Saucedo's Bio

I moved from New York to Utah in 2008. Ive been snowboarding since I was 13. You can find me all over the mountain whether it be on the groomers, in the park or out in the backcountry.

When there's no snow to slash around in, I am either climbing in BCC or LCC, hiking, camping or biking around with my Border Collie/Australian Shepard, Jaya!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are a great all mountain binding! They are essentially the Union Contact Pro with slightly cheaper ankle straps. The Union Flite Pro bindings are pretty comfortable and have average response. One thing I wasn't very fond of, were the buckles - they tend to have a hard time keeping the straps buckled in without loosening, most likely due to the ratchet system. Overall, they are a great intermediate all mountain binding. Certainly recommend!

For the past 3 seasons, the only boot I continue to purchase is the ThirtyTwo TM-Two model. You can't go wrong with these boots if youre looking for a medium-stiff all-mountain boot. I wouldn't recommend them for a beginner since they are on the stiffer side, you'll lose some control. For all of my snowboarding boots, I tend to size down a half size because they will eventually pack out causing more room in the boot for your foot to move around more. I prefer to have the laces tight but not so much the toe box. So if you're the same way, I found that if you don't tighten the lower toe-box portion of the boot but tighten up the upper part (shaft)of the boot, they are much more comfortable. This probably only applies to me since my feel tend to cramp if the toe-box area is too tight. Another thing I enjoy about these boots are the j-bars! They will come with 3 pairs of j-bars which are used to prevent heel lift once the boot starts to pack out. I highly recommend these boots to anyone with intermediate to advanced experience. They will definitely last if properly cared for!
