Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Really bummed about the strap fit. Usually it takes me 2-3 months to hone in the straps for my feet, but these kept cinching tighter every time I wore them. Super annoying. These aren't the same design as the past, bummer. The sole is great for hiking and all around use. I hope the strap cinching is isolated to these pair. It really is annoyingly painful on the toe strap.

The size of the battery is 2 3/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide, and just over a .5 inch thick.

The heating runs on the sides of the fingers not on the front or back of them. That way you have the movement you are use to. The heating elements cannot be felt when wearing the gloves.

seriously? whoever wrote the description has probably never worn this jacket or paddled. Consider this jacket that weaksauce little wind breaker tucked away in your closet that you hardly use. Its more of a splash jacket for sure. It better be REALLY warm when you use this. That cold weather talk is crazy, you get what you pay for. If your facing cold weather get ready to spend 200-300 bucks on a jacket.

yes very good for all day. but with a more aggressive downturn your going to get some soild performance. really matters what your up to, if your doing long lines this would be a good one. but if your doing some seriously crazy biz a downturn would be good. the other thing to think is who you climb with. if your a belay whore and standing there in your shoes part of the time, this would be a good one. but if you rip off your shoes after every climb get a more aggressive downturn.
