I am undecided on these shoes. They look great and are fairly lightweight. However if I ran in them they gave me blisters (not really their fault as I get blisters in this spot with lots of running shoes) and on my first trip hiking in them one shoe started coming apart at the seam. It lasted me the rest of the weekend but I returned them for the Namche Mids. Backcountry customer service was awesome by the way.

I love the versatility of this piece of gear. If you don't have a water supply coming up soon then you can fill it up all the way. If you're crossing streams every 30 minutes then just fill it up to whatever level you like and let it take up less room in your pack. Very lightweight as well. I just wish it had a bigger opening to fill it up but that's a minor setback.

I should have been more aware of the size of a 700ml pot. It was a little small for my liking and since I usually don't camp alone this thing probably won't get a whole lot of use. However this pot definitely has a purpose. If you know you can get by with 700ml, then this is a good choice. Very lightweight combo and barely takes up any room in your pack. It gets a good rating because it's my fault for not looking into it more.

I got this thing when it was on sale and it has exceeded my expectations. Just like almost every altimeter it requires frequent calibration, but if you do that this watch is very accurate. I calibrated mine on the first day of three day trip and it was dead on with the U.S. Geological Survey marker when we reached the top of the mountain on the last day. I was Impressed. You do have to take the watch of your wrist if you want a proper temperature reading, but that is standard with these watches. The trip logs were a great feature too as it kept accurate total elevation gains and losses for each day. The only slightly annoying thing is that the buttons are easily pressed. They kept getting pushed every time I put my backback on. This never caused any real problems though. This is a great watch!
