Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Selected the GoGO Elite after doing a ton of research on ultralight shelters. The feature to weight ratio is outstanding. The tent is really a cross between a bivy sack and a 1 person tent.
The GoGo's stregths: light weight, packs down to the size of a canalope, setups in under a minute, is highly wind resistent due to its shape, and is made with high quality materials.
The GoGo's weaknesses: breathability is not as good as advertised - if the vestibule door is closed (must be if it is raining, etc) - lots of condensation forms on the inside of the tent. There is not a way to keep the outer door open if you are expecting any rain at all. The tent is not 'free standing'. Stakes or some sort of tie-offs are required.
Overall: Its my 'go to' tent for almost all solo backpacking trips. Unless.... there is a good chance of rain in the forecast. The inability to vent in humid and/or rainy weather is a real drawback. I would definitely recommend the tent, just know its pluses and minuses.

As light as advertised. Primarily used inside my 55 liter backpack to keep sleeping bag and clothes dry. 35 liter size works well inside the 55liter pack - taking up about 2/3 of the available space when fully loaded. So far it appears to be durable though that may largely be due to e fact that it's inside my pack 90% of the time. The clear window is a very nice feature.

Bought this jacket for 3 season hiking/climbing primarily as a wind jacket. I've been thoroughly impressed by its quality and performance. The jacket does an excellent job of blocking wind but is also extremely breathable. The jacket wicks away sweat and keeps you dry - absolutely critical for high mountain/alpine treks. Best of all, the price was right!
