Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

Picked these up recently replacing a pair of La Sportiva Omega GTX. Right out of the box these boots looked and felt great with a very comfortable and relatively light feel. Took them out for a quick overnighter to the Palisades in the Eastern Sierra to take advantage of a great spring weather window in March. The boots handled great overall on all terrains from dry rocky subalpine to the snows above 9k'. My feet stayed dry, though a little cold, while hiking & snowshoeing in the snow and had great traction on one frozen lake crossing.
Not the burliest boot, but a burly boot was not something that I was after. Good ankle support with proper lacing that had me feeling secure even with a 45lb pack. Looking forward to future trails with these kicks!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I just spent a week backpacking across the High Sierra Trail with this tent. I really wanted to love it, but the high level of condensation was a game killer for me.

Pros:
- QUICK and easy set up
- Light and impressively spacious for its weight
- Held up well in the wind, rain, and light hail
- Loved the side vestibule and overall design
- Wide door was great for easy access and enjoying the views

Cons
- Condensation was out of control in this tent, even in mild August Sierra weather. My partner and I struggled with soaking wet sleeping bags due to heavy condensation along the single walled foot portion of this tent on a nightly/morning basis. The tent was properly staked out nightly with the waterproof "window" down to provide for the best possible circulation, but every morning was still a drag. On the worst days we'd wake up with water pooled in the foot corners of the tent.

Hope this is something that can be be improved upon in the future, especially at this price point. Returning thanks to great BC customer service

Peace & Trails!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 145 lbs
Size Purchased: Small

Took these on a quick 20 mile 2-nighter near Mt. Whitney. We caught the tail end of the first snow of the season and these held up really well. I was warm, dry, and comfy with temps ranging from the low 30's to mid 40's and snow ranging from nothing to 3' of powder. Great fit and mobility even with multiple base layers. Zippered welded pockets were clutch when trekking through snow covered passes. Can't wait to get back out in these!
*** Update - still rocking this same pair for 3.5 years now and they are still like new. Aside from a crampon puncture (my bad & easily taken care of with a gortex patch) these pants are still solid. Great mobilty on class 3&4 climbing approaches.
