The Pro-tec B2 Snow Helmet brings skate style to the snow and features an innovative multi-impact liner, so you can try that elusive trick as many times as it takes to stomp it. With the same look as Pro-tec's classic skate helmet, the B2 keeps your style basic, while giving you the protection to throw the most progressive flips and spins. Standard EPS helmet liners crush after a single impact, which means they're basically useless. The patented SXP liner in the B2 rebounds after impact, retaining its original shape, and its ability to absorb shock. A tough, injection molded ABS shell protects against smaller hits, like dropping the B2 Snow Helmet in the parking lot.

Got this model with the audio version. Sound is ok, but the mute / volume control option that you can operate from the outside of the helmet with gloves on was the selling feature that made me buy this. Not bad at all.

So my head is 23 in. on the dot, which is exactly inbetween large and XL. Do these helmets run a little big/small? Unfortunately there are no shops in virginia that carry this helmet, meaning I have no way of trying it on

I had the same issue between the Medium and Large. Went with the Medium, and glad that I did...the fit is perfect. So, I would say it runs a little on the small size.

I've had this helmet for four seasons now. I originally got it because I had a different helmet that was uncomfortable from a different brand, and no more! I wear it all day without problems, even mountaineering and BC skiing. It was true to size; just use a measuring tape to measure your head and order the one that fits right for you.
It works great with goggles or glasses. For lift-skiing I usually use goggles and for BC I use glasses and both are plenty comfortable.
The venting is not the best, but it's for snowsports. I mean, come on. For winter mountaineering and BC skiing I wear it all day and I still manage to cool off enough. For spring skiing it gets pretty warm so I remove the ear flaps, and usually carry it on my pack for the skin up. Conversely, it keeps my head warm in most winter conditions, though sometimes a helmet liner is necessary for the extreme colds, but a thin polypro liner or balaclava fits underneath just fine.
I especially like that it's toughly built; it has a nice and sturdy ABS shell and is not just a modified bike helmet like many other ski helmets out there. I have whacked my head soundly on many a low hanging tree branche with this thing but it protected great and lived to protect again.

I've had this helmet for 4 years now, and wouldn't buy another. I've never been cold in this helmet- I've also always had a head of hair or worn a bandana underneath when I had a shaved head and mohawk. Best part though is the foam is rated for multiple impacts so I don't have to worry how well my helmet will work after every crack on the head.

Perfect Helmet for customization. ABS shell takes paint and graphics well so you can show everyone your colors.

Works great with most goggles. For my Scott goggles which have a push-button strap release the goggle holder on the helmet can push that and release the goggles, but I got around that by adjusting the goggle straps so the release was off to one side and not under the strap retainer (if that makes any sense).

I've been searching for a helmet to have a little fun with and this is it. It fits my melon perfect and has a nice round shape to put graphics on. See the picture below. I got the matte metallic gold which was pretty blah. A couple of shots of gold metallic paint (designed for plastic) later and some decals and it looks pretty close to the real thing. Love it!

got this for my husband who has been rockin the same protec helmet since like the 80's....thought it might be time for an upgrade. the fit is right on but he doesnt like the vents on top that dont close. "very windy" he says. not warm. trying to find a beanie to go underneath for him.....at least i know he is protected.
