Description

Wide or long; it's all about options.

The Princeton Tec Remix Headlamp lets you choose where and how much light you need for any situation. More than just high and low settings, the Remix uses two different kinds of LED bulbs to give you the ability to light up a wide area for setting up camp or a tight distant area for long-distance spotting.
  • Maxbright LED light throws out a high-intensity spotlight that can reach up to 73m
  • Triple Ultrabright LED bulbs create a wide sweep of light up to 28m to give you all around illumination

Bright, and not bad

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It is very bright for the price and all. I have the white flood/white spot and the floods are adequate and even do okay with distance. The spot is great and extremely bright. It seems sturdy enough. Read reviews of another model by the same company where the batter door would crumble away. I don't think this one would have the problem. you can however see a decent gap where the door meets the rest of the case. Thats my only qualm so far.

Good Stuff

Great little headlamp, super bright, good price, and the 180 degree rotation works way better than the typical style that rotates on a hinge at the bottom! I went with the white LED version which is great for all around use.

two models- same name

Princeton tec has two models of the remix pro. One 70 lumens, one 100 lumens. This has 100 lumens- get this one, simple, light and plenty bright.

Let there be headlights

Ive had this light for awhile now. Everyone who uses it is amazed at how simple and nice it is. I have used a lot of different style headlamps and I really think P-Tec has a winning design here, could use a few more lumens but Im not going to complain at this price point. BC has it wrong, it is 70 lumens not 100.

All around great light. Easy to pack a good spare, or even a good first light if your price point is middle of the pack.

Remixed

This is an amazing headlamp, battery life is awesome. I found a hard case to store it in from Princeton Tec. The case has a pouch to store three additional AAA batteries.
