Description

A wearable night light.

Monsters disappear and never return with the 15-lumen Princeton Tec Kids' Bot Headlamp lighting up the dark backyard or campsite. This headlamp could become your kid's best friend in the outdoors thanks to a big beam for night hiking or walking the pup and a smaller beam for bathroom breaks and quick perimeter checks.
  • Two Ultrabright LEDs provide up to nine hours of light with two AAA batteries (alkaline or lithium)
  • A large top button lets your little one easily switch between High, Low, and Flash settings depending on the noise they hear outside
  • Tough, water-resistant housing resists impacts, drizzle, and drops in puddles
  • Adjustable elastic band fits all sized heads
  • Secure battery compartment keeps the caustic cells away from your kid's sensitive skin

Regardless of age, everyone deserves great gear!

Bright light

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bright, brighter and slow flash functions. My 8 year old has used it for night reading (bright) and also for evening bike rides (slow flash) stretched around his bike helmet.

Cute lamp

Great for my daughter - she loves using it whether we are hiking, camping, or hunting for monsters in the living room. Good battery life and durable too.

Cute and bright for little ones

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My 9 year old loves this headlamp so much that she leaves it next to her bed and night and uses it (instead of a lamp) to light her way in the dark. I picked up the pink and green one, and in her words it is, "Oh Em Gee ADORABLE!". This headlamp can apparently bridge the gap between outdoorsy and 'oh-em-gee adorable', which is a task not easily achieved.

Cute, functional, burly

Got this for my 3 year old son for our camping trips. He insists on wearing it everywhere, even when it's not dark outside. He also won't let anyone else borrow it. He is just so cute with his little headlamp. Cute in the red and blue too!

Crash Course in Making Lights

PTEC designs, engineers, manufactures and assembles our own products at our facilities in the great state of New Jersey, USA. The technology and products have evolved since we started in 1975. This is what the process looks like today.
After we made this video, it became that much more apparent that it takes a ton of energy, knowledge and skill to do what we do. What we do requires a fast pace and rapid mind. Hold on tight while this video takes you inside the brain of PTEC HQ.

Sweet Kids Headlamp

Got these for our two daughters as stocking stuffers and they love their matching lights :D They haven't gotten a ton of use out of them yet but the three settings are nice and they are super easy to turn on/off and adjust. Even fits our 2 year old's head.

Held up to my sons abuse

He had the Lego headlamp before and while it worked well, inevitably he would lose the lego guy or the head lamps since they come apart so easily and he would always be playing with the lego guy. Got him this, it says on his head, helps him see at night, not to bright enough to destroy my vision when he looks at me with it on. It took a bit of a beating and it still works like a champ.
