Description

A sun for your forehead.

The Princeton Tec Apex Rechargeable Headlamp will never leave you in the woods wishing you had a brighter headlamp. The 200 lumens spot will cook ants without a magnifying glass, and the four LED's provide a flood bright enough to land an airplane.

Did anyone say turn on the car lights? you got it in a recargable version! I've skied, mountain biked, climbed and canyoneered in the night with this light. Lasts forever, never had it go dead on a trip yet! I went on a 10 day trip and used it conservatively at first but then wanted to test see how it would last. I used it on high single beam until it automatically dimmed to the next lower setting. Two days later it started to flash so i switched it to the next lower setting(bright 4 bulbs) and finished the trip on this setting and never had to switch to the lowest 4 bulb setting. Best head lamp I've ever had and Ive got 10 or more. I also have the apex non-rechargeable and this light is twice the light, lighter, brighter, and last lots longer.

PTEC designs, engineers, manufactures and assembles our own products at our facilities in the great state of New Jersey, USA. The technology and products have evolved since we started in 1975. This is what the process looks like today.
After we made this video, it became that much more apparent that it takes a ton of energy, knowledge and skill to do what we do. What we do requires a fast pace and rapid mind. Hold on tight while this video takes you inside the brain of PTEC HQ.
