Princeton Tec designed its Apex Extreme Headlamp to survive in cold temperatures so you can climb, backpack, hike, or explore in extreme conditions with a dependable light source. One Maxbright LED and four Ultrabright LEDs give this headlamp 260 lumens that can shine your way as far as 393 feet, and for up to 200 hours (depending on the modes you use). These five lights offer five different modes (high and low with the Maxbright, and high, low, and flash with the Ultrabrights) to give you an ideal amount of light. You can stash eight AA batteries (included) in the separate storage compartment and drop it in your jacket to keep them warm when the temps really start to drop. An over-the-top headband keeps the lamp in place when you cycle over rocky terrain or take a whipper on your night climb.
