When you’re moving at an express speed, cook up with this stove.

When it’s weight that counts, pack the Primus Express Stove for lightweight cooking without the heavy bells and whistles. This canister stove weighs in at a mere 2.9 ounces, making it ideal for ultralight enthusiasts or those looking for a simple stove for simple cooking. A wide base lets the Express handle large pots, and its small size takes up very little space in your pack. The Express comes with or without a Piezo ignition, and we recommend either one depending on how much you like lighting fires.

This stove makes the cut for lightweight backpacking trips, and thanks to the piezo ignition, you can leave the lighter at home. In temperatures below freezing, the ignition took a few extra clicks, but still lit.

This stove is as small as an MSR pocket rocket and once extended for cook mode, is more stable because it will tolerate wider diameter cook pots.

This stove comes packaged with a small carrying pouch and fits inside more camp cook pots so you don't lose high value space in your pack for long distance trips.
