  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I won this at my fishing/hunting club's raffle...if I hadn't thrashed the box, I would "re-gift" it after a week's use at our deer camp.

*Takes FOREVER to brew a smallish pot of coffee
*Needs batteries for it to work
*Bulky

Only redeemable quality is the cool factor of having a drip coffeemaker in your campsite--that lasts about 5 minutes. Get yourself a good large coffee press and come out way ahead!

Seriously, for $210 bucks. I think not...

I guess it depends on how much are you willing to pay for your morning coffee. I can think of much less expensive ways. I started using the coffee press for my Jetboil and it works great.

Well I am sure rich coffee lover car campers would, but there is a coleman version for a quarter of the price as well.
