I can't believe no one has reviewed this skort for 09. Prana finally fixed all the waistband issues so it actually lays flat. The material is a little different, more cotton than previous years. There is a little pocket inside and it still has the same awesome look and feel as before. I am 5'7" 120 and could wear a small or medium and that is the same. One is snug the other is a little longer and baggier(but not by much). Plus they brought back espresso which I love.

I agree with the other reviews that this skirt is a must. Prana bottoms typically run bigger, so you may want to size down one size. However, it is pretty short, so if you want it a little longer, stick with your normal size. I have one in small and medium, depending on what look I'm going for :o)

I def. think this skirt was an awesome buy. I wear it to work all the time, and can also use it to look cute while I'm hiking and doing outdoorsy things. It is a little short, but it's still an awesome skirt. I've gotten alot of compliments on it too!
LOVE IT!

I love this skort, it is so cute and versatile. It works for hiking, canoeing, running, tennis, even as a cover up over my swim suit. Easy pack, take it anywhere. This one is a keeper!
Sweet Skort!

This is the sweetest looking skort ever! It has a low rise & a super comfy waistband. The shorts do not ride up & fit close enough without being too tight. It IS a mini skirt so if you've got the legs-this skort is for you. The material is soft & stretchy; the material wicks away perspiration so air drying it is the best way to go (you don't want to use fabric softeners on any items that wick anyway!) You could pretty much participate in any sport wearing this skort: from tennis to trail running.
Great for petite women

Most skorts look frumpy on me, even at 5'3" - they usually hover just above my knee. This skort is short enough to look like a mini! I wouldn't dry this skort as it has a tendency to pill. Just wash and air dry, or if you're in a hurry, use a blow dryer - it takes me 7-10 minutes tops! I've bought it in black and white, plus a back-up in each color since I don't want to have to live without it!
LOVE IT OVERALL

This is a great skort. The length is perfect--pretty short, but I prefer that for my skinny legs. The fabric is substantial, and the flare of the skirt is just right. Not too tight, not too a-line. I have only two complaints. First, the elastic in the top waistband is a bit thinner than the actual casing for it, so I have a feeling it is going to roll with use. It's not wide and flat like it looks in the photo. Also, because I have very thin legs, the shorts underneath don't hug my thighs as tightly as I'd like them to. But like I said, I STILL LOVE IT! I have a feeling this will become my summer staple for active and casual wear.
cute, but short

I purchased this skort last year and after several washes and uses it still looks great. Perfect skort for trail running - fabric does not bunch together when exercising. Works best on cool to warm days; hot days it does not breath very well.

Finally a skort that does not loose shape, washes up nicely, and it is a joy to wear. Moisture wicking and quick to dry. Perfect for a hike, a bike ride, walk or just errands. I liked it so much I bought two!
