I wear this piece a lot. Casual and constructive. I find it very useful as a mid layer. no problems with snagging here. pretty slim fit. but I'm a skinny dude. Fits like a base layer.

The shirt has an easy to snag fabric, like many other wicking shirts. The size is true in the body. The sleeves are a hair longer than normal for casual, but just long enough to cover the wrist on a full reach for certain activities. Handles odor well. I found myself wearing it more than once per wash for casual use (you know how that goes, guys). Breathes well also. Would layer great but also good by itself.
This shirt is too delicate...

Not recommended...the "moisture wicking fabric" is too delicate...this shirt will snag if a fly lands on it, much less brushing against a tree branch while hiking.
