Thanks to stretchy, durable, and quick-drying fabric, the prAna Men's Nemesis Knickers cover your ass (and knees) for seasons of hardcore climbing. The streamlined adjustable waistband feels comfortable under a harness, while the Nemesis Knickers' 21-inch inseam protects your knees from scrapes without overheating your lower legs. Pull your brush out of the prAna Knickers' climbing-brush holder and get rid of excess chalk on your next hold.
Bottom Line: Avoid sweaty legs and scraped knees with prAna's Knickers.
My girlfriend got me these for christmas. For some reason she thought I needed Large rather then the Medium I am. So I had to return them and BC is sold out of Mediums. Even though they were entirely to large, I loved these! The fabric is soft and light, doesn't bunch up around your knees. (Even being three inches to long.) The adjustable waist is sweet for under the harness, can't even feel it, but holds them up where you want them well bouldering. I can't wait for BC to get them in stock.
I bought these for hiking, climbing, scrambling, etc. I really love them. The material is stretchy so you never find the pants limiting your movement. They are super tough as well. I've worn them in the worst conditions and never had so much as a frayed thread. In fact, I've lost considerable weight since original purchase and actually had them professionally altered in order to get a couple more years out of them. I'll also add that they're really comfortable for just hanging out as well (if you're a man who feels comfortable wearing knickers out on the town like me).
I am looking for a pair of knickers for our grandson who is only age 11 and has a 28 waist do you have any that would fit him what is the knee length on a extra small if you even had one. He is in our Model A club and wears them at our social events. I bought a reg pair of dress pants and cut the off before but now am looking for a real set of knickers for him and have not found a web site that has childrens sizes can you help?Barbara

wore these for a long weekend climbing at the red river gorge, and they were really comfortable, breathable, not too hot. fit really well, and are light!

Up-front disclosure: I returned these because of the cut.
The cut on these just seemed a little odd (almost a flare or something towards the bottom). I would recommend the Kuhl long short instead. These just weren't my style, if such a thing is even applicable for technical gear.
All that said, the material on these knickers is very nice and they were certainly long enough, even though I am a tall guy.
They seem pretty tough, so far so good! Wore them hiking for a week and they dry quickly, and did not limit movement. Also for super hot days I found that you can roll the bottoms up to make them shorts length, which does not seem to be a detriment.
These are absolutely the favorite pants of the summer for me. The material is strong and feels great. The fit is loose and allows for plenty of movement on the crag. And they work well with any of my summer shirts. I highly recommend these pants.
This version of the knickers is 'okay'. I've got two previous pairs of Prana knickers that I still prefer--the first being a very thin material that feel like nothing, and the slightly newer pair of cotton ones, which are VERY comfortable, but now have holes in them--very sad. This current incarnation seems kind of stiff to me--they don't fit as well and the material seems 'too synthetic' for my liking. Hopefully they'll wear in a little.
