These are great shorts: Deep pockets, athletic fit, back pocket has two velcro patches, waistband is bomber, and the length is above-the-knee for better flex and mobility. They're also light, quick-dry, and versatile.

I'm 6'3 with a 32'' waist and the MED is spot on. A LRG would work better if your waist is 33+''. These shorts do deliver a secure fit for Yoga, climbing, lounging, and the strong, wide waistband will keep you confident and cool when cliff diving into the deep blue below.

If possible, I would've docked half a star because I prefer a zipper over velcro for back pockets, though.

Pictured are my shorts in AUBURN.

Got the MO...JO RISIN'

There's a reason these shorts are so popular - they kick ass. My go to shorts when I have a backpack on, because the waist belt always lays flat, with no seams, reduces chafing on big multi-day trips.

Only negative is the elastic waistband doesn't dry as quick as the rest of the shorts. But they are super comfortable, and worth the trade-off.

Got these about 6 years ago and love them, used them for climbing and active running and gym activities. They were a little long for the erg and would get caught. but easy to use and waist band was great and never got in the way elastic and whole shorts have held up well . Would buy again.

I have these in a bunch of colors, I actually feel weird climbing in anything else anymore.

These are terrific for bouldering and for hiking in general. They are VERY comfortable, stretch well, and perform well during physical activity. I have a 34 inch waist and the XL fits me well. I have it in rust (very attractive color) and am picking up another color when I get paid next. Thats how much I love these shorts! The waist band in phenomenally comfy, and I even wear them when I'm going "commando" with confidence. Three pockets are nice and deep. Dont hesitate. The shorts are the bee's knees! (I'm 6'3" and these sit just in the middle of my knee or slightly above them, while I've reminded myself...)

Really comfortable for hiking, around the home, or around town. These are about my favorite lounging shorts. I don't use them much for serious activities, mainly because I seem to fall between sizes - with a 32" waist the large is a bit to big and I find the medium too tight (so I have the large). With an elastic waist I can't tighten it down. Large is fine for walking around with just a wallet, but if I try to carry more in my pockets or am doing more strenuous stuff, they are not they slip around a bit. But this won't be my last pair since for wearing around town or around the camp they are great - really comfortable.

these are hiking and climbing shorts. I don't do either (well i hike when people don't want to go riding) but these are super comfortable. Been using these as a basketball style short subsitute and they're definitely more comfortable for the causal lounging, or doing some work in the yard. The best part is that they make great post ride shorts because you can pull over and hop in the water with no hesitation as they dry quickly and you won't be soaking your car seat.

I'd buy more.

As for sizing, I'm 5'6'', 165, with a 31" waist and the smalls fit nicely, sitting above my knees perfectly.

I got these shorts a month ago and have worm them almost every day..just in time for the heat of san diego summer.
Love the fit, cut, stretch waistband, quick drying, perfect length for comfort while hiking. Best shorts ever? possibly. Will be buying another in another color.

Comfortable easy-to-wear casual shorts. They run small. I'm 6'1", 215 lbs, and usually wear XL shorts, but I had to go XXL on these, mainly because the material around my thieghs felt too tight.. Gray is nice, but the orange color is my favorite.

I wear a size 29 jean/pant. Should I go...

I wear a size 29 jean/pant. Should I go with the small? I'm a pretty skinny guy. 5'7" 130.

Yeah, I wear size 29/30, and I'm wearing a size small in these while I'm typing this. They're super stretchy and rad.

I am a 30/32 5'9" 140lbs and I prefer the mediums. Best climbing short made!

I am the same size as you and I have a size small and they are a little baggy in the leg for me but waist they fit perfect. I tend to like a little more form fitting shorts when climbing and running.

Prana's Mojo Short has an odd fit in XXL. The legs bind, and the fit is very high waisted, which makes the binding worse. For yoga or climbing, I would find this short restrictive.

I am comparing them to the XXL Stretch Zion short, which, IMO, the best short I've ever worn.

I really, really wanted to like the Mojo short, but can't.

I have two pairs of Mojos and wear them for everything. They are the best all around active lifestyle shorts I have ever purchased. I like the fact that they do not have a liner (Breathe extra well when casual, but combo well with compression shorts for extreme activities).
6'4" 210 35" waist and I go with XL, but haven't ever tried L...

If you're on the fence, buy them. You shouldn't regret it.

My boyfriend will only climb in these shorts. He has them in "rust" & "moss" ...his rust pair are small & the moss are medium. He has a 30-inch waist & likes both sizes. They look the same on him in the legs. The medium waistband is just a bit looser.

I am nervous. I always wear a 32. I ordered the Medium stretch zion pants and I loved them so much I ripped the tags off and wore them, but now regret it. I have like an inch and a half between me and the pant when pulled. The tab holds them up though. SO my thoughts. Do they run big or small? Mixed reviews here..

I usually wear a 30, and the small fits me fine. The medium in these stays up though as well, the waistband is really stretchy.

I am not sure if you are asking about the Stretch Zion in your post or the Mojo short that this post is attached to. The Stretch Zion seem to run a little bigger, I wear a 30/32 jean and I fit in a small St. Zion. As for the mojo I would definitely size up. I wear a medium in the mojo and I like the way they fit.

I just bought my third pair of these shorts. They are absolutely amazing, They are super comfy when hiking or climbing and very lightweight. They feel like an athletic short, but look more sophisticated thanks to the faux zipper flap haha. The pockets are super deep so you dont have to worry about losing your keys or phone. These are great shorts and you will hardly see me in the summer wearing anything else.

Also I have a 32 inch waist and I normally wear a medium, but these run a bit small, so i size up one size to a large and they fit perfect.
