For those of us in chillier climes, Prana's Merced Men's Jacket is a weatherproof godsend, with a 10K waterproof and breathable membrane, 650-fill down insulation, and cozy fleece-lined adjustable hood that'll save your bacon when temperatures are in the sub-sending zone.

In case the 10K membrane isn't enough for you, Prana finished the nylon-blend face fabric with a DWR treatment, which encourages water to bead up and run off rather than soaking into the fabric. Together, these water-besting technologies keep the down warm, lofty, and light, so the chill won't seep into your bones. Prana designed the hood and hem with drawcords for easy adjustment, and lined the hood with super-soft sherpa fleece to keep all your important brain heat from escaping.
