prAna Lola Dress - Women's - 2008 BCS

I have several Prana tank tops I love in MD, and the MD dress not only hung on me, but I thought it was an awkward length, right below the knee (I'm 5'8 and 140 lbs). It also seemed very workout clothing to me (I tried black) and not something I'd wear in the evening.

I have a bunch of Prana tanks but have never really thought about trying and getting their dresses until recently when I was in search of a dress that travels well and was versatile. It was very important for me to have a supportive shelf bra as I didn't want to drag along a strapless bra on my RTW trip. Well the Lola dress fits the bill on all accounts. The cross straps make the dress feel very secure (none of the pulling and adjusting). It's fitted in the torso but very forgiving in the waist and below area. In black, the dress is easily dressed up with some accessories & strappy sandals. I'm 5'6" and 140 pounds and the small fits well. The medium was too loose around the chest (I'm a 34B/C). I'm now tempted to buy another one in a different color. Great dress!

Just bought the black in Medium. I'm 5'3". Wasn't quite sure how it would fit but it truly is comfortable, as are PrAna clothes, I think. This dress has a softness to it that makes it really functional. Not clingy, either. The built in shelf bra is comfortable and the criss cross back makes it feel so secure. I can even go on hikes or out on the town wearing this dress. Great buy. I really love it. Am going to take it with me when I travel to Italy this summer.

I bought this dress in the sea Coral Fiesta as well as black. Would have gotten brown had they had it in my size. I am very curvy on top and bottom and also short (I am 5'5") so I have a hard time finding dresses that look nice. The dress hangs very nicely, it fits in on curves and does not just hang shapeless which is great if you are curvy. The top also provides ample coverage if you are more well endowed in the top. Dress looks wonderful and I have received a ton of compliments. Got one for my friend who is tall with an athletic build and it looked great on her too. Don't know how Prana did it but I am glad they did. Highly recommend the dress to everyone. Oh the black is also versatile enough to be used as the LBD for an evening out with the right accessories.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! It is SO cute and flattering! I didn't tell my husband I purchased it, so he was surprised when I wore it out one evening while we were on vacation. He loved it! It really is a well made dress. I was in Florida and it was HOT and this dress kept me cool. The shelf bra is okay, but I wore a bra with this dress. I thought it looked nicer. I am 5'5, 110 pounds. I purchased a size small. The fit was perfect as was the length. (Hit at my knee) I love the Orchid Swirl print and color. This dress is on the pricier side, but the quality of the dress made it worth the price to me!

Very cute and comfy. Shelf bra is perfect and substantial. Ordered same size as tops in Prana. Size small--I am 5'6" and 120 lbs. Smaller up top and this was a good fit.

i got this dress in black and because i loved it so much i got another one in pink/purple. i am 5.2 and 100 pounds and the XS fits perfectly. got many compliments

Wish this dress would have worked out for me....prAna has such wonderful clothes - but I am a little fuller on top and it just looked a bit sloppy - and the print was just not me....I really wanted to like it - I sitll give it 5 stars because it's a great item - for someone else :)

I now have three of these dresses and I love them. They are lightweight and comfortable - like wearing gym clothes but everyone thinks you have made a real effort!!

Awesome dress - super cute! I normally wear a M Prana top but sized down this dress based on reviewers' advice & it fits perfect - body skimming but not tight. (I'm 5-10, 135lb, small up top - 36A). The fabric is really nice & comfortable.

Great dress for all occasions. Unlike previous reviews, the size of the Lola dress and tops didn't match for me- I'm a 36A and the medium dress was baggy in chest and torso where the top wasn't. Size down worked just fine.

I received this today, and am back to order more. Cute, breezy, and my husband can't stop complimenting. I've already had two women ask where I got it. I am 5'8", 135 lbs, medium is just right.

I got the Lake Abyss in medium (I'm 5'7" and 5 months pregnant!) and it fits great. Inside bra is comfy and supportive enough and the fabric is cool and stretches enough to fit now & throughout the summer (and will fit just fine after as well!) Highly recommended.

This turned out to be one my summer favorites. I bought the Lake Abyss in xs, and it fit me perfectly (I'm 5'4" and 105 lbs), it just hits the top of my knees. It's so easy to wear and perfect for hot summer days. I can wear it running after the kids at the park or out for a casual dinner. I wish backcountry offered it in more colors!

This dress fits just like all my Prana tops. Really comfy and the shelf bra and techy fabric make it great to throw on after a run or bike ride to go for lunch.

It's the kind of dress that works well at a formal night on a Carribean cruise or at a backyard barbecue. Definitely a keeper.

Love this dress. Easy to wear, flattering, easy to maintain. First day received several compliments on it. I'm 5'7" (130 lbs) and medium fits well (loose).

really flattering dress! love the built in bra, the ruching at the front, and the fact that the material doesn't get wrinkly. I took it on a trip and loved that is was packable and the wrinkles shook themselves out after a short time. I advise sizing down if you are between sizes.
