Meh ...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I think these are very modest bottoms, which can be a good thing if you want to be comfortable and proper in your bikini. My boyfriend did not like these bottoms.. they look gramma-panty-ish and it's true, there is way too much fabric. BUT if you want to wear a two-piece, but you're not in your 20s anymore, and maybe you're married or you finally love yourself enough to not degrade yourself in skimpy, ill-fitting swimwear to capture a "Man's Eye" .... this is a good choice. Although let's be honest, if you're in your 20s you're not looking at prAna for swimwear in the first

The fabric choice though.. ick. prAna seems to favor thicker fabrics and blocky, klugy, swimsuit engineering. They could do a lot better to choose some higher quality nylon for their suits.

Interesting bottom

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

The banding is substantial on these. The black pair I ordered just seemed like way too much fabric, but the pink lotus sprinkle with contrasting band was really cute with the matching top. As others have said, a nice mix of coverage (especially rear rise) and cuteness. I returned them though because $100+ is just too much for a bikini, in my opinion.

Good coverage bottom

Scooped up this bottom for the wife and she is very pleased with the coverage and still looks very flatterring on her. At 5'4 115 lbs this was a great fit and would recommend for anyone looking for a stylish bottom that isn't too revealing.

In my relentless quest for the perfect swimsuit, I tried this pair of bottoms on because I loved the turquoise scallop pattern. They seemed to fit true to size, I am 5'3" and 120 lbs, and the small fit nicely. I was honestly pretty skeptical about these but I found the fit surprisingly flattering.
I liked the full coverage on the backside, no peeping cheeks!
While I do think this is a great choice for ladies looking for a little extra coverage, I ultimately decided it wasn't for me. I like a little bit less fabric, but I was surprised how cute it was! If you are seeking something a bit more modest yet still flattering, this could be your jam.

Favorite Bottom!

This is my favorite bottom from prAna's new swim collection. It ships tacked down at the sides but, I used a seam ripper to remove the two side stitches and it makes it more versatile in the rise of the swimsuit.
