Hop into your prAna Women's Halle Pants, throw your climbing gear in your car (if it's not already in there), and make a quick escape up the canyon to dig your fingers into some stone. These rugged bottoms might look like casual trousers, but they are tough enough to handle  aggressive approaches.

  • Stretch Zion fabric is lightweight, abrasion resistant, and flexible so you can scramble and climb to the top
  • DWR finish sheds moisture and speeds up drying time if you get caught in a drizzle or fall in a stream
  • Relaxed fit is comfortable and breezy
  • Trouser styling gives these technical pants a casual look
  • Reinforced knee stitching boosts durability

These are awesome pants for all around outdoor use. They run a little large in the waist and in length are pretty spot on. I'm 5'6 and have the XS, i wish they were a little longer, but are super killer material, beads off moisture.

Great pants, but size runs large!

Love these pants, but unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. In the past, I have found travel pants sizes to run small, so I ordered this pair one size larger, which was a mistake. Sadly, the size was too large and the pants were not worth keeping.

Favorite Pants

These are my new favorite pants! Especially for the summer time! I also do volunteer work working with the local fisheries and these pants dry fast if wet. It's hard for me to find pants because of my irregular body shape, and these are perfect!!! Enough room for the booty and hips, but nice and long! I'm only 5'6" but for some reason it's hard to find long pants. I Love love love it!!! Thank you Prana for making amazing clothing! Although I have yet to test the durability.

Great Pant. Super long inseam.

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love these pants. Prana has a very consistent fit throughout their line. The only downside is that the pants are super long. I'm 5'10" and I needed to have these hemmed. But I love the pants so much I didn't even mind.

super comfortable for climbing

Fit true to size, super comfortable for climbing, and fabric is great for repelling some rain.

Best Outdoor Pants

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The only reason I give these pants a 4 star is due to the fit, I'm 5'3 and very petite. The size 0 is a little big in the waist but these prana pants have a tie string in the inside waist area to help keep them snug. The pants are quite long, just wish they had petite sizes! Besides the fit, these are the greatest pants ever! I love hiking, camping and climbing in them, super flexible, comfortable pants. The DWR finish is amazing, water just bounces off the material. Great side phone pockets and the option to roll the pants up and buttoned. Great stretch on the pants.

Best outdoor pants I've ever owned

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these in the spring and haven't worn any of my other climbing pants all year. These were the only pants I packed for 3 climbing trips each a week long, a couple short backpack trips and pretty much every day hike and after work climb I've done. They've held up to granite, sandstone, and even limestone. So comfortable and flattering. Don’t look dressy outdoors or lame and technical inside. Thin yet tough. Dry quick. Can be rolled up and buttoned but I destroyed the plastic button climbing an offwidth probably the same time I ripped of the back button scooting up a chimney. All that shows are a little bit of fraying at some seams and a tiny tiny whole on my thigh that hasn't enlarged in over a month. They don't shrink or stretch much and never restrict my movement climbing. The drawstring helps. I can't say enough good stuff about these pants. I'm getting another pair. I have the grey. I'm a size 8-10 5'7" 140 athletic with long long legs and got a size 8. A lot of pants are short on me, these are not. The only weird thing is the pockets are short and sometimes the inside of the pocket turns inside out and hang out above my harness legs loops. It’s sort of goofy. A tiny bit longer would fix that.
