To Small for Me

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

For being a size 10, I ordered the L and it did not fit, Maybe the XL or1X. Sorry I just can't go there! It is short and very cute. To bad it must be returned.

Not being worn in MN

Very cute, nice fit. Im 5'4" and 115 lbs and xs fits me perfectly. Im usually a s or xs so if in doubt, size down. Not sure what to do with this skirt however, other than casual wear. Ive never hiked in a skirt, so maybe that's a possibility, but I have run in a running skirt and agree that it is not ideal for that. Material isnt particularly flowy or lightweight. It really is like high quality yoga pant material mAde into a skort. Altho Im not sure Id wear it for yoga either. Still debating whether or not to keep it. Pockets are a plus however.

    Cute, but...

I think how high you rate this skirt depends on what you're doing in it. I'm trail running in it. I bought it because it's cute. And cute it still is. I disagree with Emilie that it's true to size. I'm usually a medium fair and square, but this is a bit big on me. I would definitely size down, especially if you're going to be running in this. The waist is loose and the shorts ride up a bit. I do feel that a size smaller would help. The material is a heavier knit, not as light as high performance running skirts and shorts. I do prefer lighter, faster-drying material. This skirt would be great for hiking, yoga, and casual wear, but it's really not my first choice for running.
