High quality. Normal fit. Awesome stretch. Rugged enough for the outdoors, but business-y enough for in the office.

What are the specs (waist and inseam) for a men's 30 in bronson pants, it's hard to tell from the listing because it just says (cargo green 30, $48.97)?

I know a lot of the stock images aren't quite the right color...can anybody confirm/deny the color of the khaki?

Hey Jvette,
The detailed views we offer were taken in house and should accurately represent the khaki color.

Unlike the other reviews these fit exactly as expected for me. I use them as my primary climbing pants and have nothing but good things to say. Just the right amount of stretch and made out of a tough but super comfortable material.
odd fit

The Bronson is a bit tight in the upper front thighs and gives a wedgie feel in the butt. Then there seems to be extra material in the crotch which accentuates the genitalia. Not for boxer wearers. My waist 32 came in ok but the cut seems to make the pants have a low rise. The 30 inseam is more like 32. I compared the Bronson to my Axiom jean (which I like and when new were much roomier and no oddities as the Bronson) and the main difference is the Axiom gusset is an even elliptical eye shape. The Bronson gusset has that same shape in the rear pieces of the pant but the cut in the front cuts in about 2 inches on ea. side before it meets the inseam and is more like a half circle. I think this might be what makes it feel like it's tight in the thigh and bunches out in the crotch. If I keep them I'll have to get a pair of briefs to keep from showing it all and hem them up a bit. The charcoal color is excellent and they feel like flanel but are lightweight as linen. They don't really NOT fit but are different and I think will work out. I just don't get why Prana doesn't match the Axiom cut. The material thickness and stretch are not that different from ea. other. If my waist size was just right barely and others were large it makes me wonder if Prana needs to check up on it's Quality Control in the pattern area?

I'm 6'0" 150 lbs.
I have the Prana Stretch Zion and Axiom Jean in 30x32 and they are PERFECT. Was hoping these would also be perfect. Not so :( The 30x32 version of these are good in the legs if not a little too snug (but my legs are skinny) but sadly they SUPER tight in the waist and and eh'hem other areas. The 32x32's are like a pair of oversized sweat pants in comparison. I got the 32x32's and washed the in hot hot water and dried on super-duper and they're OK ... but still disappointing compared to the Zion and the Axiom. :( :( double frown for prana for this weird sizing. Otherwise, they would be great. They are made from a very thin and soft fabric.
Nice looking anyway

Well, just like the other reviewers are saying, the sizing is a bit off. 6' & 150lbs, and I usually wear a 32x32. Got the 32s, and they definitely aren't small. A belt is definitely needed with these. I wear them on days when I'm working in the office, and climbing after work so I don't need to bring pants to climb in. That being said, they are pretty comfy to climb in. Crotch is definitely gusseted, and they move pretty well with you. Not a bad purchase, just wish they would've been truer to size. I would've bought a 30..
good ... size .. a bit off

good weight to wear around, cotton similar to khakis and cut similar to jeans. i'm 6'1" and 180lbs, i normally wear a 32, 33 or 34 depending on the pant. i wear a 32 in these and have sufficient room to fit a hand inside the waistband. at the same time, when i squat down or sit in a chair, the legs are a little tight in the thigh area near the upper leg/crotch. i would prefer a more generous cut, especially from a pant that is gusseted (ie. the gusset might as well not even be there with this pant). prana also cuts their length to the waist size (rather than making lengths) this is annoying because if i bought the 33 or 34, that's a pretty long inseam, and even the 32 is generous in length.. you gotta be pretty tall, or willing to get them hemmed to make the larger waist sizes work.
i wish i could have tried a 33 just to check the fit, but i could already fit a hand in the waistband as i said..
