prAna Bliss Short - Women's - 2009 BCS

It took me a few wearings to get used to these. They are a bit more body conscious (short and thin) than I expected but the Bliss fabris is so comfortable. There is some sizing strangeness as per the other reviews. I ordered a large (I'm about a 10) and I don't see this pair fitting anyone much larger. But - they are really flattering for being a pretty small short.

I bought these shorts for a canyoneering / backpacking trip and they were perfect. The waistband is really not bulky and great for a back pack or a harness, however, they may be a little short for serious climbing. They are really comfortable, but I did have to buy a size larger than normal. I love these shorts!

First, I was sent the wrong size. But I don't think I would have kept them anyway because there is nothing to the band. They seem like if they get wet, they'd stretch and start to fall. There is no real waist band. I was worried that to be active in them (sports, especially water sports), these would be inappropriate,m but maybe just for wearing out and about they'd be great. The material felt nice, though.

Buying shorts that are flattering is hard when you have mountain-woman thighs, but these shorts not only look great, they are perfect for any activity. I haven't worn any other shorts since I bought them.

Great shorts, but wish the sizing was a little more true. Usually a small in Prana, these were too big to stay up. Settled on the xtra small, which is a little too revealing (tight) in the back, but only the people behind me will have to suffer for that. Otherwise dreamy. Got these after wearing the Bliss capris. Love the thin stretchy fabric and the stylish cut on both. Feels like you have nothing on.

I wear these every day unless they're in the laundry. All the other shorts i own are either too long or too short. Momma bear says these are just right.

These shorts are awesome! Super fit and perfect length, great lightweight, fast dying material feels like you have nothing on! Size small is probably about a size 6. The fabric does seem to get 'fuzzy' from washing machine, so maybe better to hand wash.

These shorts are just perfect. They fit like a dream, they're really really comfortable, they're even slimming (which wasn't advertised)! I have never been disappointed by a prAna product.

This fabric is great for warm weather, even the darker colors. Nice modern fit, and not too many pockets (only 1), you'd never put anything into anyway. These shorts in my opinion are too short to fit and stay in harness legloops. Good for bouldering, although expect the fabric to start pilling if you do.

I bought a pair of these in size small. I ignored the sizing chart because Prana would have me wearing size Medium but I have some pants of theirs that are perfect in small so I know better.

They fit OK except the waist is too loose. I'm not one of those people who like high waisted pants at all - I like low rise because usually the waist is too tight. But these were too loose, and I'm afraid if I had a backpack on they would feel like they would fall off.

these are my new favorite shorts. i had the trinity shorts previously and liked those but this short is more flattering and a little shorter but still functional. i thought the sizing was right on, i have a small which is what i usually buy in prana.

This short is made from the same super soft, stretchy, fast drying fabric as the bliss capri and has a nice length, but is all over (and I mean ALL over) one size smaller. Size up.

I bought another pair after purchasing my first ones. They are comfortable and allow you to move freely. Plus they make you look thinner! I disagree with the previous reviewer: the sizing was right on with my normal size.

Love this short...purchased three pair! Comfortable, light, and flattering fit! Sizes seem to run a bit large, so I ended up ordering a size smaller then what I normally wear. Love it!

Friends had told me how great these shorts are and it's true. They fit well (small is true to size), move with me, and are long enough that I can wear them under my harness and they don't bunch up.
