Bomber

These knickers are awesome climbing pants, especially when climbing sharp rock, where you want your knees covered.
I think they run large. I am 5'7" and 130 and a S was too big, but comfy.

Responded on

I ordered a second pair and found XS fit perfect. You may want to size down.

Comfy!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love capris and wanted to try these out from prAna. I love the color and they fit super comfy and well around waist and thigh, but they flare up a lot at the bottom - much more than I like so I ended up returning them because of that. If you don't mind the flare - go for it because they are so comfy!

Amazing!! LOVE these!

I bought these pants for summer, because of quick dry nature and comfort and design. I was so pleased that I bought an additional 3 pairs. So easy to care for, hand wash or machine and they dry super fast. I use them for everyday, waking, light hiking. They are very flattering even in the absence of "buns of steel" or tiny waistline. I must comment on the excellent customer service I received from backcountry.com too, I will order from here again & again.

Bliss Capri is bliss!!

Love Love Love these capri's!! I have one pair in black and one in Stone. I am actually ordering another pair in black just in case I can't get them anymore. Highly recommend these for everyday use, camping, climbing or anything!!!

Not my faves...

The fit on me is weird...waist is too loose and stretchy tie at the waist doesn't help keep them up or feeling "right." The legs at the top are fairly snug, which, with the loose waist feels, well, odd. They are also fairly long and the bottom of the legs are quite wide due to the approx. 6 inch slits up the putside of each leg. Also the light color requires nude colored panties or you can see 'em clearly. Not sure I can recommend these. Wanted to love them based on the prior reviews, but I just can't.

LOVE EM

Love these pants!!!Climbed in em for three days straight... had brought other pants but these were so comfy i didnt want to wear the others. I have decided to exchange for the next size down though. Stretched out a bit and are a little loose. I am 5'7" and about 130ish pretty even build and the smalls are too big. Just ordered the extra small I am guessing they will be perfect. These pants were great for climbing and hiking. They fabric is nice and stretchy and dries fast and they look great!

I Love These Pants!

I bought mine 2 years ago and they travelled with me to Japan, cool & comfy, fast drying and non-wrinkly. I am getting ready for a trip to europe this summer, thinking how great that I have these pants to take, and then my dog just ATE MY BLISS CAPRIS (arggggg!) so I am desperate for a new pair!!!

I wonder if these Prana Bliss pants have...

I wonder if these Prana Bliss pants have deep pockets so I can carry my golf ball, tees, ball marker, extra tissue, etc.???

Best Answer Responded on

The golf ball might be a problem. Prana tends to keep their pants pretty slim-cut, and women's pants (as you probably know) don't tend to have a lot of space in the pockets. That said, they're fairly stretchy, so you can probably get a golf ball in there, but it'll be tight.

The pockets are quite deep. They go past my wrist when my hands are all the way in the pockets. Just a note - these pants are SUPER stretchy. If you put anything of weight in the pockets, you'll have to really cinch down the waist tie or your pants will fall down!

stretchy goodness

I actually like these pants more than I thought I would. They're nice, comfy, light weight & stretchy. They have a lower rise- which I like, I hate pants that sit high on my hips- & are nice & relaxed through the legs. They are a longer capri though(hit just below my calf & I'm 5'5").

good if you want your belly hanging out

too low cut for an extra tall gal like myself.

Best for everything

Best for everything

These pants are great! I use them mostly for climbing, but they're great for hiking, boating when it's a little cold, because they dry super fast and pretty much anything else. They're stretchy and really comfy. If you get them and they seem just a little tight, they're perfect. They do stretch out a little so they won't be too snug. I have 2 pair of pants and 2 pair of shorts I like them so much!

Write your question here...Do you seriously not have any pants over a size 14 ? Nylon capris would be awesome. There are many women bigger than I am who would love them !

Very comfortable!

These pants are so comfortable and very cute. Very light weight. I usually wear a size 2 so I bought an extra small and they are a little to big for me. I am only 5'4" so they are long on me. (They look like short pants lol) But they are worth it. I'll have to see if they can be tailored. ;)

Responded on

I agree. I'm 5'5" with short legs (28 inch inseam) and these are more like highwaters on me than capri pants. I definitely like them because they are very lightweight and stretchy.

Perfect Pants for those who 'glisten'

I practice Mysore style ashtanga in southern California, so generally on the warmer side. I love the fabric on these pants for two reasons: they're not slick and instead give your limbs a little traction as you practice; secondly, they dry instantly so you can step out of the shala and head straight for coffee without fear of telltale sweat stains. Fit is also generous, especially as so many yoga clothes seem to be made for itty bitty people. I'm 5'9, muscular build and did an XL for roomy fit, but the L is great as well - lots of give.
