    Simply great jeans

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30

So I've gotten two pairs of these jeans. The first pair I bought the zipper cover hangs open a bit so it looks like my zipper is down (which it's not!) I still wear them, and really like them regardless. The second pair I received had no such issue. They're comfortable, look nice, and appear to be well built.

    Just right!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'd like to echo what most reviewers have said. Nice flex to the material makes for crazy comfortable jeans! I prefer a more relaxed fit, and these are just perfect. I'd give five stars, but the first time I wore them, the button popped right off (and into the urinal I was using). There I was, perplexed and confused about what my next move should be. I washed my hands and left. Later, before leaving the restaurant, I returned to the same urinal, and retrieved my button. I was a bit traumatized by the experience, but my wife (the real MVP here) sewed the button back on.

I continue to wonder, why a button at all? Why not a rivet to hold these things on? Now we're asking the serious questions, I think! Anyway, other than the great button debacle of 2016, the jeans are great!

    Inconsistent sizing = headache

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small

I have these in "indigo tint wash" and they are my favorite and comfiest jeans. Ordered these in antique stone wash and the waist is painfully tight. I measured the waist as 18 inches across the top on my old pair and 17.5 inches across the top on the new pair. Apparently that inch total difference is the difference between "could sleep in these" and "can't sit in these". While the waist was noticeably smaller in antique stone wash, the legs were actually much bigger! They are one inch wider across the bottom and it pretty much makes them fit like the baggy jeans of yore.

    Gotta love em!

These are my new favorite jeans. They look great and function even better. Just the right amount of stretch, comfortable while sitting at the desk or walking the town at night. They fit true to size.

    Great Jeans

I love the way these fit, not too loose but not tight to where they limit your movement. The Gusseted inseam is key to a good active jean, and these look good for wearing around town as well.

    Best jeans EVER!

    • Size Bought: 33x34

These are the most comfortable and best looking jeans i have ever owned. Perfect amount of stretch. If i had a pair of these in each color, i'd throw out all of my other 100% cotton jeans. Seriously.

    Comfortable, Durable, Casual.

These jeans are great. They look sharp and make the perfect pair of jeans for casual beers after work but they are durable with perfect functional stretch in case you want to get a quick boulder session in before stopping off at the pub.

    The Jean for ME

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 30x31

I truly believe this is the best jean I've ever owned. Whoever decided to add spandex to denim is a genius. I love Prana's Theorem and Bridger jeans but they are just too slim and tapered in the legs for me. The Axiom jean is just for me, it's a perfect cut for a relaxed, semi-straight leg look. Offering style, durability and technical range of movement, it doesn't get much better than this. I use these jeans for bouldering along with a night out on the town. One thing I have noticed in comparison to other jean/pant companies is they seem to run short in the length. Typically I wear a 30x30, yet I had to go with a 30x32 and have alterations (which Prana does at their stores for free for customers) taking it up to a 31 inch inseam. This caused me to formulate a theory that in regards to Prana's mens bottoms, or maybe just their jeans, that they run 1 inch shorter in the inseam.

    The Jean for ME

Closest thing to a work jean

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 30Wx30L

Prana's Axiom jean melds durability with style fairly well with this product, although the wide cut tends to leave a little to be desired when it comes to putting a strong lifestyle outfit together. But when it comes to durability and comfort, the axiom really shines. This cotton jean is the thickest that prana offers and the spandex that's blended in not only makes this piece more comfortable, but also unlocks the possibilities of having this product be a true climbing jean. But if you're like me and wait a couple days (or weeks sometimes) before running them through the wash, you'll notice the fit will be significantly looser and a belt is quite necessary.

    A little to baggy

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

Felt like these pants were pretty baggy in the legs. Wasnt a huge fan so I returned them. Other wise they seemed like they would be really durable and a great long lasting pant.

    Hi Freddie,

prAna has a couple options for those that want a slimmer cut. First if you like the fabric of the axiom but want a slimmer leg you could try the prAna Theorem Jean

If you want a lighter weight denim with a slimmer cut that is super stretchy and ultra comfortable I would check out the prAna Bridger Jean

    Converting the pant hater

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 38x32

Anyone that sees me on a regular basis knows that more often than not, I'm wearing shorts. I love shorts and hate jeans. But these pants are awesome! Enough stretch for extra comfort/mobility, the fit is perfect, construction seems solid and they elicited a "dang you look good" from my wife the first time I tried them on. You win Prana. I'll be coming back for more of your pants.

    Comfort, comfort, comfort ...

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

And some good style, too. The Axiom is light fabric with just the right amount of stretch. I picked up the indigo tint color and I'm really happy with them. Great pair for mid temps.

    Amazing

Best jeans out there, that's why I have two pairs now. Work, play ...whatever you can throw at them they will last. Crotch gusset and stretch makes all the difference in the world!

It says military green but is it looks brown? What is the color look like in person?
