super comfy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 8"
    Weight: 150 lbs
    Size Purchased: 30 x 30

I can't get enough with stretch in my jeans or pants. These jeans fit great. They look great. The gusseted crotch makes them more comfy and versatile than any jeans i have ever owned. I mostly have just worn for every day wear and they are perfect.

Insanely comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 6' 1"
    Weight: 186 lbs
    Size Purchased: 32 x 34

Haven't taken these hiking yet, but they are truly excellent jeans. As a runner and cyclist with large thighs, the denim stretches to a very comfortable fit in the legs, and the waist fit just right. Not sure where the other reviewers are coming from, as I don't find these baggy at all. They are of course a little looser fitting than the skinnier jeans that are in style these days, but that should be expected for jeans that are designed with room to carry gear. Can't wait to take them into the mountain backcountry or the West Texas high desert.

prAna Axiom Denim Pant are awesome

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 10"
    Weight: 200 lbs
    Size Purchased: 36x32 & 34x32

These fit pretty true to size in the waist. I have cyclist legs so they fit nice on the quads. Love the stretch as it makes it easy for all your movements, weather scrambling up a boulder, bombing a 10ft drop, or having a coffee. These also have some substance not like the Zion. Very sturdy feel with out being overly heavy.
I got my first pair 36x32 and tried them and they fit well and felt so good, but with the stretch I wanted to try the 34x32, these are my new go to jeans especially when I fly. Not tight but look great. at 5'10" and 210lbs I can wear both pairs. the larger pair for a more baggy look and smaller pair for a slightly closer cut.
Go get yourself 2 or 3 pair, you will not regret it.

I have to order a new pair every year, give or take, after heavy use.

Favorite jeans on the market!

Amazingly comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Couldn't believe how well these fit and how much they actually do stretch for climbing and hiking. Maybe run slightly big but not enough to justify going up a size. Also, I do not think mine are really that baggy. After receiving my first pair and wearing them a couple of days, I am ready to order another pair! These will definitely be a wonderful addition to my closet.

Unbelievably comfortable and resilient

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

These pants are really incredible. They have a great feel to them. Sport nice deep pockets to make sure nothing accidently falls out. The gusted inseam makes for a really comfortable feel especiallt when doing something active. The little bit of stretch to them is really great if you plan to be doing a lot of bending. I have picked up a pair in every shade that Prana has made in these and they have become the only style of jeans I wear. I have worn these while bouldering, camping, hiking, every day wear and they have held up through it all. The colors you see in the picture are true to color. That being said they do seem to run a bit short in the length. I normally wear a 32/32, in these however I need a 32/34 otherwise they show a good bit of sock. Other than that though they are a fantastic pair of jeans.

Best Pants Ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are my favorite by far. They're slim and good-looking but the slight stretch means you can be more active than with traditional jeans. They've got an extra panel in the crotch for extra mobility too. Fit is pretty dead-on- my waist is 34 and I wear a 33 or 34 equally well. I also LOVe that these come in odd sizes and not just evens.

3 years strong

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

these are by far the baggiest pants I have, so they don't see tons of rotation in my everyday life. However they have held up great after multiple washing. Leather accents look great. I will have these for another few years at least!

look great and fit great

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Bought these for the hubby and they are awesome! He likes the fit because they have a perfect stretch for being active and also looking casual enough to wear anywhere.

Bishop, high ball....

These do sometimes fall apart quickly, but contact pRana or backcountry.com and they'll replace them for ya no problem.

When you do find a pair that lasts, they are pretty nice jeans!

I definitely fell off that think drunk one too many times. Maybe if I had just had my Prana jeans...

Wouldn't recommend, but I don't hate it.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

So first of all, I wear this pair everywhere. I go climbing, hiking, and I work with it all the time. But I do have many complaints regardless. The fit is looser than I thought, and the threading bunched up at the thigh. I also ripped a hole in it within a week.

meh. baggy and weird. weird fit

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large

as stated. weird fit. floppy and baggy compared to other Prana "regular fit" pants. i bought them because of the great fit of other pants in the same category from Prana, but these are terrible. nice color and finish but baggy and the bottoms are basically bells and i cant wear them without feeling like a candy raver from the mid 90's. the other reviews are all over the place. maybe the other folks with my complaint got a bad batch?

My favorite pair of jeans

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These are now my favorite jeans with the Levi commuters as a close second. I think the gusseted inseam is the x factor making these the more comfy option. 5'10" 170 and I went with 32x30 in the Levi 510 commuter and 32x32 in these. Waist is spot on and the length doesn't hit the floor in shoes.

Great jeans

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Bought these with work and after-work climbing sessions in mind. Very comfortable jeans with stretch to keep you from being restricted while hitting the climbing gym or local crag after work. 5'9" 180 and went with the 34x32 but probably would have been better off with 33 or possibly even 32.

Super straight 20 inch wide leg opening?

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

The jean is a great material, but the the legs of the jeans are Perfectly straight from the the thigh to the cuff, no shape whatsoever. I ordered a 38 so that means the corresponding straight legs were so wide that they looked like karate pants.

The rise in the back is at least 2 inches too short, so if your climbing or even sitting down it feels like the waistband is very low into upper crack territory.

The material looks really good and the stretch is nice.

Missing 2 belt loops above the back pockets, and the belt loops are too far apart in the front so that a belt will rise and the button of the fly will pull out underneath the belt.

Back yoke is too high and is not tapered as should be to allow for room in buttocks area.

So many good looks on this jean, but the ergonomics and cut are horrible, not made for actual human anatomy.

Designed to look good on a shelf.

My favorite pair of jeans

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These jeans are perfect in every way. I have the Dark Gray and I will order more in different colors. I am thin with muscles and the fit is nice not too tight or baggy. Just right!

They have a nice stretch for activities but still look good if you are going out. They are super durable as well. I have three pairs of Prana pants and they are my favorite pants as they are the only pants I wear now.

What is the inseam on a 34" waist?
