These mitts are amazingly warm for how thin they are. Goat skin leather for awesome durability. Goretex liner is a huge plus for keeping them dry and the fleece inner lining is really soft. They do come with wrist straps nothing special just the usual loop with the pinch cinch. Nikwax these puppies up, it will help waterpoof the leather, keep them looking good, and keep em lasting longer.
I have used these on really really cold days up at the Bird got down to -3 a couple of days might have been colder. But just had these on and my hands were nice and toasty. Going to pair em up with the Pow Handy glove liners and the Pow shockers for the ultimate POW set up!

I just returned a pair of POW Royal Mitts that showed up with glue inside one that stuck the lining together until I pulled it apart (leaving a dab of cold/hard glue in the palm area. Both thumbs were also messed up with the linings being somehow stuck together and creased making the thumb areas tight and uncomfortable.

My question is... "are these GTX Mitts any higher quality, or are they just slapped together in some third-world shack like the Royals?"

I had to pay my own return shipping on the Royals and am unwilling to make online purchases without assurances that the products are either free of defects, or are at least returnable (including return shipping).
