Great first impressions

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

They seem super warm and breathable, I was wearing them around the house to break them in a bit and my hands didn't over heat but I could feel that they are really warm when warmth is needed. The one negative thing I can think of is that the fingers are a bit long for the rest of the glove(this might just be my hands though.) I like how the design was kept simple and the glove seems to be getting more dexterous as i wear them longer so the dexterity doesn't bother me. In other reviews i had read people complained about the finger compatibility and not being able to use phones but it works just fine for me. Hope this helps!

Excellent under glove

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Have been using leather lobsters and synthetic mittens up until these bad boys. I always bought cheap thrift store gloves or synthetic throw-aways. Got a M and it fits well for my M hands. Leather is soft and the glove is easily manipulated. Glove fit me pretty well enough to not need the strap, but the strap made it impossible for snow to get under the collar of the glove. No warmth issues until I got to about 0-10F weather, but was still mildly warm.

I have been using these for outside work, shoveling, skiing, boarding, hiking, shooting. They work really well in all situations. I really dig the goat leather feel.

Touch screen tech is a little sketchy. I find myself having to use the pointed section of the finger to do anything, but it works wet or dry.

Still a bit pricey in my opinion for what you get. I compared these to my old Swany over sleeve lobsters and prefer these. But, if you are looking to upgrade from a $20-30 pair of gloves, I highly recommend these.

These gloves have been great so far this year. I have used these gloves quite a few times already and they have been great. I like the leather feel of these gloves and they come with some waterproof treatment that I would recommend using on your gloves to get them fully prepared for the winter. I like the velcro cuffs on the bottom of the glove which keeps them out of the way. The only thing I noticed was the finger lengths are a bit longer than most companies I have bought in the past few years, Medium size.

The Stealth GTX glove from Pow was my first ever product from the company. All of my other gloves were either too stinky or became chew toys for my dog, so it was time to freshen up for the upcoming season. I was immediately intrigued by the 60's inspired lines, the GoreTex membrane, and the Primaloft insulation. So, I knew that this glove would keep my hands warm, dry, and looking fly. The Stealth is all leather which has always proven to be durable for seasons upon seasons, plus, you don't look like a toddler wearing all leather.

All leather, GoreTex, Primaloft insulation, fits true to size, long cuff to keep snow out, and looks way cool

CONS: Palm is not re-enforced for added durability, the TouchTec fingertips do not work well on smartphone screens, and the fingers feel fat and clumsy.

Overall, I feel like the Stealth GTX glove is up there with any high end glove. A few days on snow with them, and my hands are still happy. These would make a great gift, or just treat yourself to a stylish yet techie glove.

Design quality goes downhill each year..

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I bought my first pair of POW gloves back in 2011 after researching and testing many different glove brands and fabrics. My hands run cold due to poor circulation and I've never been able to find a pair of gloves that kept my fingers warm until the POW Stealth glove! The leather really kept the wind out and helped keep the heat in. The Hypora lining was thin and effective. I 100% loved them! I accidentally dropped one glove off the lift and I couldn't find it. I had to replace it with the newer Gore-Tex model. The Gore-Tex model didn't seem as soft and supple as the Hypora model and didn't keep my hands as warm so I continued to wear the older Hypora glove on one hand with the Gore-tex Glove on the other. Over the years of heavy use the Hypora glove started to wear a hole in the stitching of the finger. The wife was able to sew it up and repair it, but was time to start looking for a new pair of Gloves. I bought the Stealth TT GTX and was super exited for it, but was immediately disappointment with the thumb dexterity once I put it on. I couldn't open my hand as wide as usual due to the construction of the thumb fabric extending over onto the palm. What was POW thinking? I ended up returning them and will be trying out the POW Women's Gem glove this year since I didn't like the color option for the POW Tanto.

I'm giving this 3 stars because of the lack of thumb dexterity and it using Gore-Tex instead of Hypora lining. Lower star rating is also because I've been spoiled with the awesomeness of the older models of Stealth glove. My rating might have been a 5 star had this been my first experience with this glove.

Overall it's an awesome glove that I would recommend to all the cold fingers out there. The glove will fill a little stiff and fat at first, but it will break in and be awesome!
