Description

Touch of class.

There are many components that a complete a bicycle, but only one provides a tactile experience to a rider -- the grips. And, while there are plenty of options out there, only a few of them provide the style and comfort of genuine leather like the Portland Design Works Bourbon Grips.

The full-grain leather is sourced from Italy and it's tanned and conditioned with natural oils. This gives the durable leather rich colors and a soft texture. The Bourbon Grip features polished lock rings with the brown finish, while the dark finish is complemented with anodized black rings for subdued class.

what is the largest diameter of a handlebar that these grips can be mounted on?

Responded on

Typically, most grips that are lock-on style are designed around a handlebar with a 22.2mm outer diameter. This is what most mountain bike, cruiser, and BMX bars are. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask away!

its the small touches the make my bike better than yours, like these leather grips with (probably) hand stitched seams. from the look and feel of the leather i think they sourced it from a classic 1966 Alpha Romeo Giulia GTC. so step up your game, and stay classy. these grips are worth the cash if you have a beloved commuter or refurbished classic.

Classic/vintage leather grips. I bought these to revamp my old 70s style cruiser. I lost one of my first pair because my bars were slightly too small, but I added some tape to my bars before adding the second set. Work great now! Really comfortable grips too.
