Description

Climb, climb, and climb some more.

With impressive climbing properties for the medium- to high-speed ski tourer, the Pomoca Climb Pro Climbing Skins are your go-to universal skin. The all-mohair fibers are woven thick to resist tangling, twisting, and static electricity and treated for reduced friction and improved climbing ability. Razor-thin, 3-layer Safer Skin is completely impermeable to moisture, folds easily, leaves no residue, and resists rips with its stable edges, while the Ever Dry treatment resists weight-adding moisture to stay ultralight and superfast. The Back Fix attachment features light, simple strap at the tip and a strong, snazzy, easily adjustable tail strap with plastic hook. All this makes it easy to tick off your summit list with confidence, speed, and economical power.

Unanswered Question

Is the clip compatible with the Ski Trab system that locks in the middle? (i.e. is it narrow enough?)

What do the length sizes correspond to? (M, L, XL)? I am looking for it to work with my 171cm Ski Trab Volares (129/99/116). Suggestions? Thanks, Ben

Mohair Magic- Climbs Amazing

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of Pomoca Climb Pro's for last season. First of all, the cutting tool that comes with Pomoca's is an excellent tool. I was able to fit my skins perfectly in no time at all. Next was the on hill fun. Dang, these skins perform. I am not a speed climber, but I like my skin to glide well and they do. But, the biggest surprise was the grip for steep climbing . It is amazing. I have been able to skin straight up slopes that others had to switch back on. One of my skiing partners had ski crampons that he was using and I could skin up anything he was walking up. At first, I was skinning with my ice axe in hand because I was expecting the grip to slip, but that was seldom the case. To make a long review short, my experience with these skins puts them at the top! If you like to get after it and you enjoy steep angle ascents, try these out. They are pretty light and they hold awesome and they glide pretty well.

These skins performed above my expectations and better than any brand that I've owned.

Hey Papa Stumpa!

How did you find the tail clip or tips clip perform?
I'm always curious about this, as I often lose the tail clips on BD skins (I must not be pulling them tight enough) - but I think that system sucks!
