The Polar S725x Heart Rate Monitor is the only cycling-specific monitor that combines heart rate with speed, distance, altitude, ascent, cadence, and optional power output. The Polar OwnOptimizer recovery test feature tells you if you've recovered enough from your last training session so you can avoid overtraining. If you're a multi-sport athlete, the S725x Heart Rate Monitor tracks your running speed and distance with the optional S1 Foot Pod. Track your calorie expenditure, heart rate max and average, recovery time, exercise date, altitude, and ascent. Monitor changing weather conditions with the outdoor thermometer. After your workout, download your data to your PC and track your progress. The exercise reminder alarm gets you to your group ride on time.

The color is the only discernible difference. By the way, the only color available right now is the carbon fiber.
